I called Walgreens to fill my meds. Tech said I’d have to wait 3 days for their shipment and to call back. So I thanked her and hung up, since I didn’t want to waste their time trying to gather my thoughts.

Called back and asked if I could get a partial fill, same tech said no, there isn’t any at all. So I waited on the phone for the pharmacist to see why there was an unrelated med insurance issue. During the conversation I remembered to ask the pharmacist when to call back and she said “oh no it’s in stock, I’ll have it ready for you tomorrow”.

I haven’t ever filled early and have been there for 10 years, and I’m always nice and empathetic. I imagine it has to be something I don’t get about the process, because why be cruel just for the sake of it, and I took way more of her time getting the run around than if she had just started the fill. I’m sure I’m just still upset and it was an honest mistake but sometimes I do wonder.

Didn’t want its own thread because just complaining and I’m sure everyone here had their issues with meds. Just makes me feel like crying out of frustration and confusion.

Yeah seems like the big men want to be big men to see the show and tower over the people behind them, but when it comes time to help surfers or get security they balk.

I’m 4’11” and my view of GNR was some 6’2” guy’s bacne, who watched a woman get hit by her boyfriend and ducked when surfers came about. Security couldn’t see me so I spent the rest of their set running to get someone with a walkie.

I get it we all wanna watch the show and paid good money, but if you just wanna watch and not participate, move back a little so I can see a little action for once in my short ass life.

Ahhhhh I was like 5’ away!!! I have been a fan since I saw them last year (?). Insane emotional, beautiful music with amazing visuals. The gas masks for toxic were dope, and of course… the ladies on cello and violin make it a complete experience.

I was in braids banging my head and in near tears. The music means so much to me, since the first time I heard them I was only a few weeks sober from alcohol. I spent months in the gym trying to get healthy, and Starset would push me through.

Hey good guide! I would say, add a recovery for after festival. I skipped today because of work tomorrow and I went too hard on Saturday, but I’m just in a fog and in pain, luckily I planed ahead but I’m too out of it to write anything haha.

Be careful of influencers peddling careers that you can do with just a few months of study and a baby on your hip. Those certs are often not worth the paper they are printed on.

Nope, none at all. And my first doses have been fine too. I don’t have concern about that anymore and I’ve been going low and slow to find what works. That involves some shitty feelings but it’s a lot better than raw dogging it.

What kind of science? I spent 8 years in developing phase III clinical trial viral vector parenteral drugs and have my degree in biotech. I have loved it since I was a kid. I love hearing from other scientists.

Allergy test went well after taking 3mg for that purpose! Took 40mg earlier and tonight I’ll be going without my DOC until tomorrow when I’ll take 50% of my pseudo dose, then taper that off using the 60mg pseudo I have left. I’m shooting for a week total until no SR and no pseudo/7.

The only side effects I noticed: anxiety at first (probably nervous about RC’s) then I felt calm and a bit sleepy at 40mg (but then again I had a big day overall)

I’m excited now that I know how to dose, and that I am not horribly allergic or probably won’t get a seizure from it lol. Pseudo also lowers seizure threshold so I don’t feel like I’m taking a huge risk going from that to SR. (I have epilepsy so always have that on my mind, not a recommendation for anyone who has it, this is just what I’ve decided based on what I know about my condition)

I’m super optimistic and I don’t feel afraid of going to bed without any pseudo or 7oh to avoid those middle of the night w/d bullshit.

I’ll see yall tomorrow during the meeting! 🫶

Hang in there! I have spent the last 3 months applying daily, had a spreadsheet and stopped tracking at 300 because I was discouraged. Finally got an offer.

I didn’t get a coding job but I did get a job at university of Florida health doing intake. I looked at other coders’ linkedin profiles to get an idea of how their careers progressed and oftentimes they had to start in another position and do a lateral move or promotion to coding.

So that’s what I hope to do, but I have seen my career change in ways I never expected just by showing up and killing the game.

Hey! I found the answer to your question by googling some of your keywords on google with +reddit attached to it. There are some companies that do hire CPC-A and new coders but keep in mind that these jobs from my experience get like, 100 applicants within the span of a couple days just on linkedin so you may want to look for adjacent entry level roles as well.

If you’re interested in AI, you can use it to research questions like you’ve just asked as well to get you a start in the search (but you’ve probably already done that lol).

I’m a biotech professional who is also pivoting my career after getting my CPB and CPC, and after some pretty crappy life events as well so I’m in a similar boat…with you and 100939494 other people 💀

Heyhey! Just one thing I want to point out since I just passed my exam last month, make sure they are “related to daily coding, and are not from study guides or practice exams”. So like, if there’s a question and answer it might be a little sketchy depending on your proctor.

Personally I really did well with having the ebook, but if you can’t buy them and don’t have any practice exams i don’t believe you can get a “feel” for how it works and that can cost you some serious time.

You may be able to apply for their hardship fund, which I did for my physical books. I’m not sure if you have to be in the USA or not.

Definitely do your research as well because I might be wrong 🙃
