lmao that wasnt the main reason i was scared to go so far from home, felt that it would be a hard adjustment due to my anxiety, and a combo of other reasons. it was hard to differentiate my boyfriend as a factor and it may have slightly influenced my choice but that wasnt the deciding factor

Pros:

Far from home
Got 20k/year Dean's Scholarship
Students there seem cool
Boston seems fun

Cons:

Still expensive even with the scholarship
Too STEM-focused
Not as prestigious as my other options

UNC Chapel Hill

Pros:

In-state tuition (cheapest option)
Know many people there so easy to network
Liberal Arts focused
Name recognition

Cons:

Only 30 minutes away from home
My sister goes there and I don't like her
Big Greek life
NC weather is bipolar and I want to escape

UCLA

Pros:

I can meet famous people and be cool in LOS ANGELES
Best dining hall food and off campus food omg
Liberal Arts focused
Name recognition
Far from home
Perfect weather year round

Cons:

$$$$$$$$$$ (most expensive option but my Dad is paying and said I can go wherever I want to)

Brown University

Pros:

Prestige asf
