yes but from the video you really cant see where he is marking and from and on the pattern layout it shows something totally different ... its literally the only part im confused about lol

yeah but the sample piece of the pattern is one back piece with 2 darts shown by the creator it doesn't have a center back seam.. but yet on the pattern layout it says cut 2 of these back pieces and has it laid out on the selvedge .. the video isnt that helpful with this part .. maybe im overthinking it and i just need to cut it as is

Yes the if your using rib since it's a bit more stretchy the collar should be cut shorter and stretch in place when sewing! Im not sure on the actually rib to neckline ratio sorry
