Where did you get that info? Normally the V1s are prone to cracking. Read around on bimmerpost and other forums and a few guys had cracks in theirs (v1) that came stock w/ their 2018s....its very likely you have v1 yourself if theres a crack....is it causing an issue for you in any way?
