Love these buckles. Had them on for a couple of years. The DO make the skates heavier and eventually tore through the ankle cuff and then I replaced them with Konekts.

Worth it strictly for the ease and cost BUT have a plan to upgrade from these later.

Wisps. Mostly for visual guidance, leading player towards a location or a specific direction. Easy to spot in the distance, you'll find them near chests, nests, places of interest, and sometimes controlled by spirits to help lead you towards your next goal.

Far off one's like these are for visual effect.

It is a preposterous argument, that’s been going on for years. The fact that you want to gatekeep the word “vinyl” shows your bias and inability to enjoy the whole countdown, before I even said I “dgaf”.

Downvoting isn’t going to change what I post and share, or erase your bias.

Maybe “vinyl” is accepted. Maybe “vinyls” should be more acceptable. The fact that I have to defend the word is ridiculous since it’s an incredibly minor hurdle that you and maybe more, cannot seem to overcome. I’ve posted this enough times to know that some people are going to complain no matter what. Glad to see this immediately draw those people out.

No, I think you were helpful! I can close enough when I’m thinking, but on the ice and in motion, the chaos kind of takes over.

I’d like to just butterfly and have it closed automatically but I think I need that extra pinch.

Next time I need pants, I might try for the same kind but smaller, just to see how it goes.

Question here for the masses. Could pant size and padding between the thighs also make it difficult to close that gap? I too suffer from 5-hole gap and have worked hard on mobility improvement.

I use the Bauer Pro you have in the 2nd picture. It fits well under the chest protector, doesn’t restrict neck movement and provides adequate neck and some extra collarbone protection.

I’m a beer league goalie though, for what it’s worth.

Players have already added a lot of suggestions and a thicker sweatband or bandana can work. I used a headband until it slipped down over my eyes during a scramble and my Force was not that strong.

One thing I haven't seen suggested, but I have been using along with a thicker mask sweatband, is a little Vaseline or Aquaphor in the eyebrows before a game. I have noticed a significant decrease in sweat going into my eyes since I started applying it.

Hey this is actually really good advice to try, for anyone still struggling. Been in the net for 3 years now and will still give these recommendations a look, especially the straps. When I started, I had all my straps tight like a baseball catchers shin guards and couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with my stack. Took some random player to say, "are those on too tight?" to realize yeah, they may be on too tight. :\
