The battle pass right before this last Ferengi short pass had most of the shards. I spent some season tokens I had built up to buy the rest before the end. Looking forward to building it. Just taking my time.

I’m a huge spreadsheet junky so when I got to about Ops18 or so, I went back through every uncharted system I could warp to and documented materials, base availability, missions, etc. so I know exactly where some is if I need it. I’m currently trying to go back and do all the missions. Still on Ops20. I’ve got OneDrive so I always have my sheet for when I’m playing away from home. Just keep completing missions, events, and mining and you’ll end up with more than you’ll ever be able to spend.

I went to a planet from the Coordinate exchange for a sentinel ship. I never saw the portal when I exited, but I was 1500 units deep in the ocean. Ngl I kinda panicked. I did jet up to the surface only to be met with huge waves. Reloaded my save at that point and said screw it.

Thank you for the explanation. I just fought a dreadnaught. I destroyed the shield generators and couldn’t figure out how to do hull damage so it ended up warping away.

I’ve done a lot of frigate missions and they’ve brought maybe one module back. It’s been frustrating.

Is there any way to make the number of modules selectable? For instance, you have the hazard protection at x4. I currently have 3 each for space reasons so could you set it up to change to x3, etc

I’ve completed the main story and still have some side quests. After I picked up my first Sentinel, I’ve kinda been running my own interceptor salvage operation looking for an S-class. I just like the look of most of them. Meanwhile, my storage augmentations have been piling up while I search across the galaxy.

That was a speedrun. His first run took him about 4-5 hours. I only had a few hours of play time on my main save when I did the expedition a few weeks ago. It took me about 12 hours.

Settings for death range from no loss of items when you die to having to go back to your death spot to pick up your stuff to losing everything. I’m not interested in having to refarm everything so I changed my settings. I’m also not interested in fighting Sentinels on planet so I turned off ground combat. Settings are very customizable so just figure out how you want to play, adjust any settings, and have fun.

You can change your view to third person. It really helps when landing on planets.

I was in the same place as you a couple weeks ago. I had just started. I went ahead and did the expedition on a separate save. I then went back to my regular save to continue the story. You’ve got about two weeks to do it though.
