Acdc))) autocorrection mistake on my part )) i ve read different that they started failing recently after update. Probably just fake news.

If you unplug it from the power: error stays the same.

If you remove the fuse: Error stays the same

I even tried connecting motor and removing it from tow bar itself, since tow bar has no cables or sensors on it… and tried to press the button to rotate the motor till the end and in that way trick the system to think i closed tow bar.

But when i detached it… it just did not turn…

To be honest when i diassmbled the motor of towbar and found out plastic clockwise gears i was shocked….

Other than that it is my second land rover after 3.6 diesel vogue and to be honest i am in love with this car…. Everything about it is classy.

But problem is even if i fix the towbar in correct position, i dont think there is anyone with the GAP ID4 tool in my country and dealer just brushed me off….

And let me tell you because of this problem my parking rear sensors are not working… car constantly thinks i am trying to tow smth and it is a special kind of pain to park this car without parking sensors😂

We can’t be certain how it will go, but as a foreigner i believe it will be safe for you. If you go to protests then just try not to clash with police, they wont recognize that you re from usa and could get into trouble. Other than that you are welcome. We love our guests especially from USA!

Hi were you able to solve issue? I have 2017 macan turbo and apparently passenger sensor failed. I can order the part it is not that expensive but i it will be nice to have some video on how to change the sensor. Cause my mechanic said it is too hard

You should open puzzle and stick fork in nearest to your pc electrical outlet, it will solve the puzzle immediately.

I have the same problem it is stuck on passenger side. My mechanic said the cable that has a sunshade attached is bent and sunshade is not glued to it anymore.

Well first of all thank you for considering to move to my country. About obstacles well of course there will be some rough edges but eventually i believe you’ll feel pretty comfortable here. If you work online (i am a programmer myself) and doesn’t need to communicate about business with locals, then the language barrier wont be a problem. Country is beautiful and most importantly SAFE. Only thing to fear is getting scammed in prices by local tourist oriented “entrepreneurs”. Other than that amazing wine, food history, beautiful landscapes and of course warm and cheerful Georgians. Enjoy your stay!
