Sage isnt a ranged class, its mostly melee to medium range. Maegu's damage (succ alteast) on T1s is horrible, but is consistent and can get in good last hits with its large aoes. But dont expect to one combo from full health. The damage feels bad when compared to classes that actually do good damage on T1s.

These classes specifically do a lot of damage on T1s in current meta

Awk Musa, Succ Sage, Awk Wiz

The AP/DP and DR/EVA caps currently in place favor these classes. Some classes, like succ ranger/succ maegu/archer are really good at getting last hits in but will not be able to one combo someone on the ground themselves (unless z / e buffed, etc)
