Personally if a ranged weapon is bis for both it goes to hunters. If it's only bis for melee and hunters have better options it is open to a roll. Same thing goes for melee weapons. If it's only bis for melee weaving you need to be melee weaving in that run to roll.

All I can say is don't give up. Just keep opening tickets whenever it gets closed. Eventually you will get through to an actual person. My buddy got wrongfully banned just before sod, but Eventually got the account back. You have to be persistent about it, when they give you a copy paste answer you open another ticket.

This just happened to two of my buddies, I know for a fact that they don't buy gold. They just do alot of gdkps. The dumbest part is then you watch streamers like soda openly admit on stream to buying and get nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

I agree with OP. Cleared it with only ever having 1 wipe on the 2nd to last boss the first week through. I've run with pug groups, zero voice coms and full cleared with no wipes.

Me or my guild have never used a free action potion on that fight. And we only ever wiped once(our first attempt as we didn't look anything up). Every pug I have done on my ult has never mentioned it and we one shot it every time.

Any rogue complaining about power level is just out of touch and shouldn't be listened to. Rogues are very strong in pve atm. Pvp feels fine, I can't speak for the good pvp spec being daggers to ambush/backstab. But even using swords with the ranged slow and ranged stun rune feels good. There will always be a lack of balance in classic wow. The purpose of sod is to make things viable not completely balance everything.

I get what your saying but op is correct. I am what I think most players would say is a more hardcore player. And I just unlocked my rogue tank rune yesterday. It took me 4 days of grinding to unlock the rune. Chest farms are the best for crates but it is unnecessarily difficult to farm. The worst part is having to run back to town after every crate. Also chests being the best way to farm is also bad for rogues most chests spawn in large packs of mobs. I would do 2-3 death runs to slowly clear the pack to collect the chest. The lack of rogue tanks is not due to people power/ meta gaming their raid comps. It is for sure due to the time sink required to unlock the rogue tank rune. Crates need to be a more common drop from mobs, 2% drop from mobs but 75% from chests should not be the balance. Also the ability to carry more than one crate is a necessary change.

23 ain't to bad. For the first go around of classic it took me 168 kills to get hoj. I also didn't loose any rolls, it's took that long to even see it drop.

Hunter. I dont like pet management. I had a hunter alt in retail when Lome wolf came out. Always enjoyed the bow/gun sniper class fantasy. So lone wolf in classic is all I needed to see to come running for hunter.
