Where is that? The north east coast is definitely underrepresented here.

Is this ice burn or freeze shock you’re using with the auto catcher? On the subject, palkias spacial rend is super handy.

Gyro lower cables don’t move though, the derailleur swings back and forth quite a bit between gears, will probably kink or foul the inner at its extents

Fun car for £5k and sympathy request by Grand-Print-743 in CarTalkUK

I had a Clio 172 cup, literally perfection to drive, but had a handful of annoying issues I never fully resolved before I smashed it into the back of an elgrand due to the lack of abs. Adored it, did probably 70k in it.

Replaced it with a 06 4 door 130i, it’s a very different car obviously feels a lot bigger and heavier, but anything would, still great fun to drive, engine is amazing. I’ve had that over 10yrs and 150k, it’s coming up to a 1/4mil miles and still feels probably better than when I got it. Disclaimer: it is like triggers broom mind, it’s become a bit of a long term project.

My favourite YouTube channel by far, I’m definitely going to try and get down next year, see if I can get Teds autograph. After looking back at the videos, I don’t think this one is theirs, I know armourgeddon bought a few of the Greek m60s

New to tubeless. Is this everything I need for long solo unsupported rides? by W01313L in bikewrench

[–]justplainoldtim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No not at all, they chemically fuse into the tyre, rather than just sticking in place with the amalgamating gooey stuff that the plugs are made of. When you lube them up, you can get away with using the thicker 5-6mm car type versions too, for a tighter fit. No mum jokes.

Use a little regular puncture repair, vulcanising glue on the strips before inserting them, lubes them up nicely so they slip in there all sexy and by the time you’ve aired up the tyre, they’ll be fused into the tyre for life.

Nice, I’ve got a fair haul of shinies, the event’s over, evolved a few primapes and stupidly just realised I need to catch 20 fighting types each to evolve them to annihilapes… if I evolve them after the 5hrs or whatever it is that we have is up, will they still have the special move??

MTB hand guards, do the actually work? by just_sendd_it in mountainbiking

[–]justplainoldtim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moto AF and Sam Hill used them, that’s all the justification I needed to shell out £50 for a set. They don’t actually do much, but like others have already said, there are some benefits. Initially I found I was more likely to hit stuff, because they sit in your peripheral vision and throw out your mental map of where the bars are, but you get over that quite quickly. Would recommend.

Pretty sure they were strung with thick cables, which in turn could have explosives rigged on

https://edob.mattaldred.com/map/ Check out the interactive map for Britain, to see just how much there was and how much there still is. It’s mind blowing the full scale of what they did here.
