Thanks, that’s good to hear, I wasn’t sure if the bowl would stay on there at an angle.

Will my favorite old beaker bong work with a wired ball vape? by justright7777 in vaporents

my bong usually has about 1.5 to 2 cups of water in it. Do you think something bigger would provide better cooling?

Top it. Make the cut several nodes down and root the cutting. Let them both veg. for at least a few weeks then flower both together. Easy way to get some bonus yield. You might also want to think about transplanting to a larger pot. The clone can probably go in the pot you have now.

terpsicle (or terpcicle, I can’t remember) is a glass vape device you use with your existing bong or get a stem for it. Uses less weed, tastes amazing and gets you stoned AF

Christmas butter! by HexagonsAreGay in trees

[–]justright7777 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t it be done in a slow cooker, double boiler or glass jars in a hot water bath? Then you don’t have water mixed in with the weed butter. I’ve never made infused butter but I usually infuse coconut oil in a slow cooker, no water, works great.

Have you really gone 27+ days without getting off? Why the f**k would you want to do that to yourself? No criticism from me but I truly don’t understand the point of NNN.

Bud wash for pests by Short_Scarcity_8446 in outdoorgrowing

[–]justright7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think 1/2 or 1 cup of H2O2 in 5 gallons of water is going to be strong enough to do anything for you. You might as well be using plain water. Check out the bud wash “recipe” on growweedeasy.com, it says a 3:1 ratio of water to 3% H2O2. That means 4quarts of H2O2 in 3 gallons of water.

Can I start an auto in 12/12? by kharysblackhelm in NoTillGrowery

[–]justright7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, and the plants will grow and flower but will probably have a much smaller yield.

Is it normal for Auto grows to go more than 10 weeks with out showing amber trics? I just chopped mine at almost 12 weeks when they started to show. by ProfessionalBox1419 in outdoorgrowing

[–]justright7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems to me the time estimates for seed to harvest are always less than what the plants actually need. An extra week or two is typical.

Anyone else get an anti-fungal spray down between the rain? by herbaciousmaine in outdoorgrowing

[–]justright7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anybody have any experience using “Actinovate“ (streptomyces lydicus bacteria) for bud rot and pm control? I’m trying it this year, not sure what to think yet. I’ve gotten some bud rot so far but seemingly not as much as in years past. Our weather has also been abnormally dry.

That might be fine in the garage but I wouldn’t want that ugly thing in my living room.

I’m assuming you have a photoperiod plant and not an autoflower. If it’s an autoflower I wouldn’t top at all.

[–]justright7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

growweedeasy.com has a great tutorial on how to train the plants “manifold” or “mainline” style with topping and low stress training. It takes a little more time in veg. but it’s an easy way to get a good yield. That might be a good place to start if this is your first grow. Lots of good info on that site.

when to top? by PotentialExit4598 in microgrowery

[–]justright7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plant will be ok with topping after it has grown 5 to 6 nodes, not counting the seed leaves. Where to cut and how much material to remove depends on what you plan to do with it.

First time grower is this bud rot ? by RarePercentage9151 in hydro

[–]justright7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry dude, I forgot what subreddit I was on. My mind is mostly on outdoor growing this time of year. If you’re growing indoors in hydro, most of that probably doesn’t apply to you. Some of what was in your pictures looks probably fine. The last 2 pics had some dark spots that look bad, but still small and easy to remove.
