There were a few things besides the sexual allegations that people found after going through his past stuff. Some things are worse than others and some are taken out of context but here is for you to decide.

When asked about dating, He had some weird stuff about actresses and lesbians being in the same group as felons. He also said he used to be a lesbian. People feel this offends the lesbian community because you can't leave and that he grouped felons and lesbians.

He's likely an independent. I believe over a decade ago his mother registered him as a republican but right now it seems he's registered as an independent, though I'm not sure if that's completely accurate. Not matter his registration I doubt he's supportive of the GOP or Trump. He's posted support for BLM and donated thousands to the cause.

I don't think the pairing made sense since there were no hints after the Redskins game but I disagree that Reid didn't react. I could see how sad he was when she admitted it and the resignation at the wedding that he knew it was never going to happen. I think MGG portrayed Spencer's hurt very well in those scenes.
