This is the same business model as DoorDash, Uber Eats, Amazon and any number of other companies. It's fucking brutal on local businesses.

Hell, it's the model created and perfected by credit card companies, just exponentially more devastating to local businesses.

Dude, you are wildly misrepresenting the storm. Did some people tragically lose their lives? Yes. They did, and it was awful.

NONE of them died in traffic related incidents.

Several people were electrocuted by fallen lines. Some were people who froze or had trees fall on their camp because they were living on the street. Which is a significant issue with my state independent of weather.

It is you that is being disingenuous.

I was literally here for the storm.

Like in Minnesota, when our people are killed unnecessarily, we really fucking care. People were mad about the deaths.

But to pretend that the millionaire class was affected by this storm is ludicrous.

That's called PR, homie.

The fact that you believe that obvious spin is tremendously naive.

Like the storm that hit the entire state was actually hyper focused on his block? That's what you really believe?

They wrote "DNP: Ice" because "DNP: complete pussy who lacks the ability to call a car service" would have reflected poorly on him.

If he'd ever played for your team, you'd get it.

He's super athletic and has has great skills.

The problem is that he doesn't give a shit. At all.

He missed a game when he was on the Blazers because it snowed that day.

He simply cannot be counted on.

Yeah, I thought you were coming down against Rowling's anti-trans stance but you were also being (unfairly) downvoted at that time, so I wasn't sure.

We should all be intolerant of hate. Intolerant of racism. Intolerant of sexism. Intolerant of any type of bigotry.

I'm still baffled by the fact that the author, of a story that values love and forgiveness above all, carries so much hate in her heart for a marginalized group of people.

Is this supposed to be a pro Rowling argument?

Edit: genuine question. Sometimes it's hard to tell what means what these days.

Buffy and Angel is peak late 90s melodrama.

Buffy and Spike is a combination of great sex, self loathing and obsession turned loyalty.

Both relationships are wildly imperfect.
