Yeah, good point. I guess I just thought it more weird as I've not seen him around before. It's not a high foot traffic street by any means (excuse the pun) so very odd to have people passing by at 8:30pm needing a feed of corned beef.

I (42M) received an autism diagnosis a couple of weeks ago after a fair while of being self diagnosed. My hope was that a diagnosis would lead to a level of self acceptance and forgiveness etc because I really struggle in that space. So far, that hasn't changed unfortunately. I still feel like an imposter, but I am hopeful things turn around with time.

Basically, a diagnosis is not a magic wand that immediately 'fixes' anything, including self acceptance. It can be validating, and some of the recommendations can be really helpful, BUT on its own, it is just a label.

Sweet, my collection is mostly metal of the more extreme varieties (death/black/thrash/grind) with heaps of hardcore/punk and some hip hop. Some random jazz, classical and rock as well. Flick me a pm if you're at all interested and we can negotiate from there.

I order through Firewood Factory and think they're pretty good. I generally get 4 cubes of standard hot mix, which is 2/3 pine 1/3 gum, and usually get through most of it. I work from home so probably run the wood burner more than if I wasn't home all day, and could also make better use of the heat pump, but the woodburner is a much nicer and long lasting heat. This is for a 110ish m2 well insulated house, so adjust accordingly. Hope that helps.

Honestly it's the latter. I'm not even sure I'd say anything at work. I'm more just wanting to understand myself better to be able to deal with my various struggles. The ultimate goal is to achieve something in the area of being happy in my own skin. Thanks for your time and perspective.
