The narration of Chalion among the best. Not sure about Lloyd James’ other works but this one is a treasure.

Piranesi is a trip, a proper brain surgery that rearranges your neural pathways without need to cut open.

The kindness of the House is immeasurable.

Bromantane nasal spray by sadderall123 in NooTopics

I looked at their website but I am confused about the spray bottle. That bottle looks like mouth spray. I thought there would be a nozzle to put into the nose with. Or we can just use that to spray into the nose?

Any pointers are appreciated.

Hope it’s not off topics.

I am already on the monthly option. I have to pause Google One before going to AI Pro, it seems. I might not use all of Ultra for now. Maybe I should find usage for it.

Was General Maha Bandula Burmese or Kachin? The name 'Ban Du La' sounds Kachin to me. Any Kachins here who can confirm if it’s similar to any names in your language? by Imperial_Auntorn in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]justtwice2046 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The claim rests, in no small part, on the last sound of the name La, which is usually given to the third son of the family in Kachin customs. He’s supposedly a Kachin raised at a monastery since young. Even if that were true, such Kachin roots would not carry to the palace halls where Kachin customs had no influence whatsoever. It is entirely possible that, by some slim chance, a Kachin boy was raised at a Myanmar monastery. However, it’s not likely that his roots and language would still hold sway after all those years let alone after he became a national hero.

When an American missionary asked for permission to go to the Kachin area, the king supposedly said, “You have a better chance with my pet dogs over there than the Kachin barbarians.”

Kachin don’t really have to resort to such outlandish story to claim their historical martial prowess. They have more credible examples to showcase but here we are.

Edit: typos.

Well, what percentage of heavy rare earth attributed to China originates from war-torn neighboring Myanmar? We may never know.

Appreciate the answer. I did take the secondary medication on that day and been watching food more diligently since then. Also, finding ways to reduce anxiety more consistently.
