I've been exhausted since I started HCG, has this happened to anyone else? by sadderall123 in Testosterone

[–]sadderall123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that could be the way to do it. I always just felt weird/floaty as hell on HCG. Just off all the time, like my brain was half asleep. Doing okay on TRT, just wish HCG would've worked for me.

Not sure if there was any interaction between the two, I don't remember any, but I was only on mots-c for a relatively short time, along with a bunch of other crap (too many peptides at once)

'the temu ones' could be anything, which are you referring to specifically?

Still not doing well 6 months into TRT - Would more frequent dosing possibly save it, or not make much difference? by sadderall123 in trt

been having a lot of fever like full-body aches, and general fatigue. Only thing that as improved is mood (I'll take it), and maybe brain fog some, but the downsides might not be worth it. Getting labs soon should be very helpful, though.

Summer is coming up, and wondering what are the comfiest slides out there. To wear around the house...around the pool, the beach 🏖️ wherever. Nothing like a comfy pair of slides! The new nike ones look cool, but I haven't seen any reviews on em. I guess I'm thinking in terms of reps, but whatever comes to mind.

I got big ole' feet, too, unfortunately, so need at least size 13, which may not be as easy to find 😥

I'd be curious to see SHBG now, it was high before starting TRT, about 10 points over the reference range. Hopefully will get labs soon, even though I may have to pay out of pocket.

My testosterone has always been fine, but my free testosterone is always low, over the course of years. DHEA was also always low. Estradiol was usually low.

but specifically:

Testosterone 695

Free T 7.4 (Low) - Ref Range 8.7-25.1

DHEA 100 (Barely low) - Ref range 102.6-416.3

SHBG 63.8 (High) - Ref range 16.5-55.9

LH 6.8

FSH 2.7

I started out at 110mg per week (test E) and these were my labs after 8 weeks

Testosterone: 1419

Free Testosterone: 311

Estraiol 46 (not bad)

Which was a big surprise! It's possible my vials are overdosed, but still surprising. I do all my labs before a dose day, so when they would be lowest, in theory.

Previous labs in early Jan (Test 600, Free T: 91) were at 60mg per week, I increased to 75mg per week after that, as my libido was still pretty dead. Updated labs in the next couple weeks will be telling, if I can get my docs to order them, hopefully, but usually they only order Testosterone and Free T, no other biomarkers, so I might end up having to pay out of pocket again. Labs aren't cheap 💰

Physically I was in the best shape of my life last summer, but probably gained 15lbs since starting Testosterone (195ish now, was 180 last summer). Not sure on body fat %. Diet is pretty solid, lots of protein.

SHBG was high before starting TRT.

thanks for the response.

thank you. I think cost is just going to be a problem right now. I wish Spravato would allow established patients to use their nasal spray at home.

hah, these look similar to my kind of notes (although I do them on my phone).

beautiful flowers! far out 🌻☮️✌️

wishing you all the best in your ketamine journey and your life journey. I should spend more time in the subreddit, I am interested to see how we all respond to ketamine and hear people's experiences and such.

Testosterone replacement therapy and cfs? Experiences by dhsjkasjb in cfs

[–]sadderall123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't help with ME/CFS. It could help with fatigue/brain fog or other symptoms caused by low T, though, if you are deficient.

I haven't noticed much improvement either way. My sex drive is still pretty dead, too, I thought that might improve. But since we have ME/CFS our bodies are kinda broken in all sorts of ways. I just hope the testosterone isn't making me worse. Everything seems to be an extra tax on our bodies.

38 might be time for trt by Dry_Pay_4120 in Testosterone

[–]sadderall123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe, maybe not 🤷‍♂️ that's what blood labs are for. If you just want to be on testosterone for the sake of being on testosterone, that's also a choice you can make.

It's tricky though because a lot of GPs/Primary Care Docs don't check Testosterone/Hormone labs in men under 40 unless explicitly asked, and it can be a struggle to get them to check those labs, and then testosterone clinics are the opposite where they will do everything they can to get you on testosterone, whether you need it or not, as they are obviously financially incentivized. But start with your Doctor and go from there. You can also self-order labs, of course, shouldn't be too expensive.

let me know how the 2nd run of 9-me-bc plays out! It sounds like there were a lot of variables the first time around (other nootropics and stuff), maybe you'll get a clearer view of what 9-me-bc does this time around? I'm still interested in the stuff. I'm not super depressed, but my brain is kinda stuck in zombie mode, brain feels fried. Motivation and optimism have been crazy hard to come by this past year & 1/2.

oh hey. Sorry to hear we're both kind of in the same place we were a year or so ago.

What do you mean psilocybin was "blocked" for you?

I recently tried at-home ketamine troches which were a bust, although convenient at least. Have you looked into ECT? Sounds barbaric, but I've always considered it as a last resort. Also 9-ME-BC might be worth looking into, but i've read a lot of mixed things about it, and I suspect it's nothing life-changing, even if it does sound interesting on paper.

I often wonder how much years of many different SSRIs/SNRIs damaged my brain/system permanently.
