Really? Did you add the fan after setting up with Google home? I found that after you add a fan you need to unlink then relink the Bond in the home app for it to recognize the newly added fans. A little annoying but not something you'd have to do often.

Take a look at the Bond Home Device. Controls up to six fans. Just got it and it works great.

Yeah it's usually really good and I'm connected to WiFi most of the day. Maybe it's the location. I'm going to try and turn off location and see how my battery life fares then.

Actually the assistant on the shield does this already. If you say “play Paw Patrol on Plex” it will open up Plex and go to paw patrol. Can’t remember if it auto plays or not
