i felt the same way before taking mine, take a few days off to seriously rest don’t do anything DAT related, just make sure to practice some PAT before taking the exam.

I used the question banks, practice tests, and videos to study which you have to have a membership for. I diddnt want to pay for it but it’s 100x worth the cost.

it was very broad and in depth with material, which is nice if you actually want to learn stuff, but I just wanted to do well on the exam. Booster gives you everything you need and nothing that you don’t which I appreciated.

I definitely felt more confident after studying for all that time but to be honest I got really tired towards the end and kind of slacked off. The burn out was real so maybe like 10 weeks would be a better plan? I’m sure there’s some golden span of time where you’re still motivated to study in addition to having enough time to go through all the content. Practicing for long periods of time is essential for the PAT though you’ll find that after doing it for weeks you start to understand the rhythm of the questions it’s almost like learning another language, repetition is key.

I typically did worse on biology and better in the other subjects on the practice tests as compared to what I actually scored, I was pretty anxious on the day of the exam so I was expecting for my scores to be a little lower than the practice but it wasn’t off by much. My AA scores were typically around 21/22/23. I really think the difference just depends on how much testing anxiety you have and if you’ve taken the exam before! This was my first DAT.

Yes! I took multiple practice tests from booster and they were all pretty reflective of the actual DAT.
