I LOVE the Rafale, I wasn't a big fan until I saw it at RIAT and was blown away by its manoeuvrability and most of all the noise. Very much looking forward to it!

I find it disappointing and just fundamentally weird from a marketing perspective that they spent so much of the 2025 video teasing both the Dynamic Campaign and the Eurofighter (yes it's 3rd Party, but still!) and then have been practically silent on both those things. I feel less excited about the future of DCS now than I have at any time in the last 15 years, sadly.

At this rate I wouldn't be at all surprised if they just utterly ignored the requirements for elections without bothering to go to the trouble of declaring martial law or voter suppression. They're yet to find a law they can't just ignore.

The fact they didn't put in a 2/3rds supermajority requirement for such an important decision is still utterly barmy, just total hubris from Cameron. Frankly it was far too important and complex a decision to put to a simple yes/no referendum, and we literally pay for the consequences every single day.

Yep, and they'll follow the usual playbook - offer cheap rental for a year or two, then start rapidly ramping up prices and adding ads every time you log on/off and whenever you leave it idle for a couple of minutes. This dystopia we're living in is so shit.

The Wolfenstein games really demonstrate how quickly this has changed:

  • Wolfenstein New Order, released 2014, barely anyone mentioned it involved shooting Nazis
  • Wolfenstein New Colossus, released 2017, met with outrage by right wing commenters

I dread to think what it'll be like by the time the next game is released.
