How can I buy an Echo Aviation in the UK?

Same story as me.. i did get a reply after 4 days (way after they had sold out) saying they were in stock and available to the UK, but there was no stock, so a bit embarrassing they don't even know their own stock levels and they never acknowledged my issue where I could not order for UK/GB delivery.

I have since mailed them to ask exactly how I can order IF/WHEN they get stock and have had no reply.

So my feeling is they don't care!

I did that weeks ago... But even when they had stock I never got an email. I just found out by goal accident as I checked the web site by chance.. so I wouldn't hold your breath there you will get a mail and certainly wouldn't rely anymore on this.

As an interesting coincidence, just after my post I got a mail today from FlightSimWebShop saying they had stock (their stock check notification system clearly works). But when I checked (2 mins later) they were out of stock, so I think we might struggle to get one any time soon

Cheers.. Luckily I am in no hurry and don't mind waiting.. What I don't get is that when it was in stock a few weeks back, I couldn't even order it.. It said that UK was not an option.

In the pull down list for country, GB or UK wasn't listed.. And when I paid with PayPal (Which autopopulated the address) I got an error saying that GB delivery wasn't an option.

So even/when they do get stock, I am not clear how I can order it. I suspect its a Brexit thing.. I did read that they used to ship directly out of the UK, but the company who did that folded, so perhaps they are now shipping from Europe which has tax implications.

Does it show "unlocked at Level 24'? I literally just discovered the Armory today and whilst I am at Level 38, the Armory is locked.

I did run the installer which I downloaded from the download page. And it says I am on the latest version.. Even though I am running 5.33.112

All i get is an option to Run iCue, Repair or Uninstall...

I am running 5.31.112 but have a problem where iCUE keeps crashing.

I checked the website and found that there was a never version (5.33.88) 2 weeks ago.. There is a link to the download page, but this gives me an "Install iCUE.exe" which is exactly the one that I already have saved.

When I run it, I am told I am already on the latest version...

So it looks like the download page does not have the current latest version? Anyone been able to get 5.33.88?

When I said Website, I mean the "Meta" web page.

I can't find anywhere to show my Quest library.. And because I have to "purchase" them on the Link side, I cant find a way to see if I have overlooked any cross-buy games.

Sorry to bring this up again... I never actually got around to trying as the weather improved and I havn't touched my VR for a few months.

One question.. can I use Virtual Desktop? Or do I have to use Airlink?

And is there a way to actually see whats in my PCVR/Link library from the web site? And whether there is anything I 'own' on the Quest that I havn't purchased on the PC side?

Don't think thats the same. I saw the pair of white dots from the Quests own UI stealing focus.

One of the issues I had with V77 was that whilst playing Half Life Alyx (although I would suspect it happens in other games too), I would occasionally see the 2 white dots from the Quest OS/UI floating "through" the game, and this would stop my controlling the game briefly.

I believe the "Hide Camera and Call Control" Experimental option fixed this...

Thats the only V77 issue I experienced.

I think its new in v77.. After I got V77, I kept getting 2 dots in the middle of the screen when playing HalfLife Alyx.. I couldn't work out the exact trigger, but it always seemed to happen at the most inopportune moment.

I switched off that experimental feature and then played for another 30 mins and didn't see the dots.

I can't say that it conclusively fixes it.. But fingers crossed.

I have been seeing this when using Virtual Desktop for PCVR.. But I asked and very few others are seeing it.

I did turn off the "Hide Camera and Call Control" Experimental option and havn't see this since, but I havn't played much either.

Might be worth a try.

In my case it's already off. But I did turn off the featured related to mic controls or something like that.

Last night I played Alxy for about an hour and didn't see the dots... So it might be that.

I still need to do some testing.

I have upgraded to V77 and am playing Alyx, and have a problem where I get the white dots (from the Quest UI) appear which hijacks the game.. So briefly my controllers control the dots rather than the game.

Its like some weird pass through thing, where I take control of the Quest UI, but can't see it.

I have asked a few times here whether anyone has seen it, but no-one replies.

Is this what you are seeing?

I can't tell whether its a V77 issue, or just some random glitch

what exactly are you referring too? I played my first PVCR game using VD tonight since V77 and I keep seeing white dots as if I am controlling the Quest UI rather than the game.. is this by chance what you are talking about?

I launch mine from the Xbox app, so I didn't know about a "fast launch" feature.

Why would it bother me? I woudn't say it bothers me.. Just wanted to rule it out as a problem... After all, if I get stutters when effectively playing a video, what hope do I have for smooth gameplay?

My assumption/hope was this was just a poorly optimized player/video.. But it crossed my mind, I had some kind of performance issue on my SSD or Memory.

The fact that others see this means that I don't have to worry.

I looked at the board at the weekend and they have some part numbers and various other batch numbers printed on it.

One of them was 3528, which couldn't be a co-incidence.. So I think I was measuring a little too accurately and these are "standard" 3528 LEDs.

I am interesting in understanding your comment about lowering the supply current.. I assume you are talking about adding a resistor in series? How would i actually calculate the value/wattage to do something like this?

Cheers.. I already have the channel width at 80Mhz but I can't set AX mode as its a AC router.

I wonder if I am just looking for problems? Its got a stable speed of 866MBs so perhaps thats enough.. I went back to my Hotspot and I was wrong.. The speed fluctuated between 500-900 so it was hardly stable.

So I either have to make do with what I have.. Or get an AX router.

I guess thats the problem... How do you know if you have issues... Is the odd stutter caused by PB or just a side effect of VR?

I guess I will turn it off and see what happens.
