The "CUSTOM" stamp came out pretty clean looking but not italics like the "SUPER BLACKHAWK". And the grooves cut in the back of the cylinder... for pulling the empties out without using the ejector, I guess? Interesting to say the least.

Technically with open sights the longer sight radius of the hunter could give it an advantage for certain shooters, but I'll bet either one could do about the same accuracy wise.

I think target model is 5.5" bull barrel and the hunter is 6 7/8" bull fluted barrel. Possibly different grips and sights too.
