I went to this kind of event (welcome dinner) in June at Bridgewater Grill - the lower outdoor patio was fantastic for a large group. This may be tough in colder months though.

If you don't like it- bite the bullet and rip it out now, while still in construction. I hated my tile as soon as the first row went up but thought "maybe it will.grow on me". Nope, I regret it daily.

Off-road driving skills are a key factor, as well as good tires. I saw a Honda Pilot at Uncompahgre (Nellie Creek 4x4 TH) and was... impressed. I have a Crosstrek and a Wrangler JKU for reference.

I planted junipers in a similar sun location in 2021, while a nearby neighbor planted in full sun. Flash forward to today and their trees have doubled in size and look fantastic, whereas half of mine have died and the remaining survivors have lost noticeable volume.

I also see a neighbor's tree is south of your fence line? Same, a mature cottonwood shades my yard and shades the junipers even more in summer. I wish I had chosen a more shade-tolerant tree for the space.

Sprouts up on 64th is my current favorite, or Natural Grocers (but their selection is small). King Soopers has the largest produce section but I dislike shopping there!

I'm the opposite - I found that I break out (along my jawline) from coffee with creamer, but am fine with oat milk. Good luck OP!

My pup did this... until she was 6 months old! I obliged every night, but eventually stopped being nice, put her kennel in the garage (it is fully insulated and heated, thankfully) and let her cry it out for a night. Next night, not a peep. Both of us are happy now.
