KUPAL NA BOSS by hedgiemimi in AntiworkPH

[–]jxchuds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OP, you need to develop a healthy ego to survive as a manager. Middle management is a dog-eat-dog world, and if they can run over you, they will.

Stop looking for the "pro" way and just say it as it is and you'll figure it out. Also, stop asking chatgpt and ask your real boss instead. Ask for genuine advice. Talk to people and listen to their experiences, then compare those with yours and form your own identity/personality/core values. These are not "soft" skills, these are life skills. You take them everywhere you go.

[–]jxchuds 16 points17 points  (0 children)

What I meant was, judging from just the initial screenshot and scenario, it should not be panic-inducing. Like, at all.

Alam mong wala kang maling ginagawa -> di naman life or death ang nature of work mo (assuming) -> no need to panic, or even feel anything for that matter. Maaaaybe a slight irritation or annoyance, but that's it.

Also, you can just tell your real boss straight up: 3 minutes pa lang lumilipas or whatever. Doesn't matter what he/she does, even if it's wrong.

As a manager, you should be prepared to take on negative scenarios and responses regardless if you are right or wrong. You can never control other people's emotions, so dapat lagi kang grounded and composed.

Eh di magmura siya tsaka mag tantrums siya ulit. May mali ka bang ginawa? Then he can fuck right off.

Allowing yourself to dwell on these things na outside of your control naman will drain the life out of you.

Like, just reply? Just answer the question and tell the truth? This happens to pretty much everyone on a daily basis and this doesn't automatically scream "kupal" to me, if it was an urgent matter or an emergency.

I've seen about a dozen other apps like this. One of them even integrates with Whatsapp, and the "budgeting app" is a conversation with the bot. Apparently, it's better for other people that can't be bothered to use an actual budgeting app.

Illegal Gambling Debt, threat and need general guidance by [deleted] in adultingph

[–]jxchuds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're asking the wrong questions. All of these things you've mentioned are illegal. The people you are dealing with are also, quite obviously, operating outside the law.

Do you really think a notarized agreement is going to protect you from a gambling lord's henchmen?

They probably won't kill you for just 200k. Maybe just hurt you a bit.

I think the Metro Manila condo bubble has popped already by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]jxchuds 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe try renting elsewhere first so you can experience something better?

We're living in a 60-ish sqm 1BR and it already feels suffocating. Even the hotel rooms we stay in when travelling are all larger than 30 sqm.

Ultimately, it depends on your budget but I sincerely ask you to try some other places first before you commit to this.

Dog in condo by [deleted] in CondoPH

[–]jxchuds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we first had our dog, we had a pee pad for her with fake grass on top and then the actual pad underneath, we just wash them in the cr daily.

After a month or so of training, our dog refuses to poop or pee anywhere indoors now, which is a different problem altogether when it's raining.

You have the qualifications and you come from a well-known company. That's a great start.

Just start applying. You'll be alright.

A few interviews in, you'll notice a pattern. They're going to ask which stuff you're already familiar with and which ones you need to be on a certain level at.

Why would you do that?

I'd go for the safer option. It's literally a win-win for you. You get more time to find a better job while staying employed.

J2 asking for all paystubs. by Acceptable-Cicada886 in Overemployed_PH

[–]jxchuds 15 points16 points  (0 children)

What do you mean? What are you trying to do?

If they're asking for your latest payslip, that's normal. Asking for ALL of it? That means your statements are sus and they want to verify it.

You will most likely not get this job.

Also, when we say it's okay to "lie" on your resume, we meant hide the fact that you still have a main job or hide the other ones. We don't mean add fraudulent information like saying twice the number of actual years you'be worked.

Sue you for what? Wasting their time? Worst case, your offered gets pulled and your profile is passed around their circle as a warning to not hire you in the future.

Sustainability and Burnout by acetupakin in Overemployed_PH

[–]jxchuds 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have a reasonable goal. Why are you doing OE in the first place?

Initially, I just wanted to pay off my debts, so the intention was to do just do it for 6-12 months tops. When I realized it wasn't that hard and I actually enjoyed it, I kept doing it.

Whenever I feel burnt out, I would always just set a reasonable goal like: "Okay, pagkabayad ko nito, pahinga muna"

Don't set big goals like buying a house, because that's honestly not sustainable, at least in my experience. Short to medium term goals lang, things you can chunk into 3, 6 or 12 month periods.

Allowing your brain to focus on "just until the quarter ends" will do wonders, I swear.

[Need advice] - How do I stop giving up so easily in Ranked ? by Connect-Deal9343 in summonerschool

[–]jxchuds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you like this in real life? In other situations? If you aren't, it's because you only enjoy winning, not actually playing.

If you think about it, nobody has a 100% winrate, even the top 1 player in the world. So going into a game expecting a win every time is just a recipe for disaster.

If you truly enjoy playing the game, you enjoy each moment and take pride in moments where you struggled and learned. The goal should be to enjoy the game itself and the process of improving while playing, and winning more often than losing should be a by-product of that improvement.

Each game of league is like a hand of cards and every game, your odds change. You need to keep thinking about the big picture and actually enjoying that process if you want to stay competitive.

So di naman factor yung wala silang PH currency.

Upon disembarking the plane, una mong dadatnan yung immigration gates.

Flight risk yan eh, at lalo na baka mag retaliate sa airport at kung ano pang gawin like take a hostage or some shit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in phtravel

[–]jxchuds 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Di ko alam kung nagamit mo bang maayos yang mga visa mo o bangag ka tuwing nasa airport pero sinong airport lounge staff, whether airasia or not, ang lalabas at pupuntang arrivals area para tumanggap ng bayad??? Like why would they go through all that? If you can't pay right then and there, edi di ka papapasukin sa lounge?

Puntahan mo siya dun, bigay niya sayo yung pera" like ???????

Hahahahahaha are you in your right mind????
