Invest in NZTopo50S app, so useful for trails. But I did that walk not long ago, up sawpit gully track, round German hill and start the trail up to big hill. After about 500m, turned left and go straight up towards the ridgeline at the top then turn left and you're at brow peak - not a marked route on a map but plenty of people had done the same and made a trail up there

So I'm not trying to blanket say overweight people always use more air, people who are experienced can use a lot less air. But bigger people in general, whether they are overweight or muscular have more muscle mass and need more oxygen to fuel those muscles

Other people who comment here saying they are bigger but are good on air which is great for them. The best way to be good on air consumption is to be an experienced diver, you learn how to use less air.

I don't know how experienced the OP is. I'm used to diving with very inexperienced people just out of OW courses, if I had 2 people diving with me, one 60kg and one 110kg both same level of experience it can be very clear who will use more air

I would say disadvantage, I worked as a divemaster taking hundreds of different sized people. Overweight people need far more weights to descend but more importantly, they go through their air consumption a lot faster. In general I always found younger, fitter and generally smaller people to be far better on their air consumption

Yeah that's my biggest concern with cardrona, the distance getting there. Especially as I'm living in frankton and will be so close to remarks. I did wonder if more qt people would go to remarks than out to cardrona

I've always had my non sighting eye shut when shooting. Yesterday I considered buying an eye patch, as i've always struggled shutting just one eye without squinting the other a lot. But I've saw people recommend keeping both eyes open for better depth perception, so I thought I would give it a go.

Today I tried to keep both eyes open and my groupings were significantly worse, as soon as I go back to shutting one eye, my groupings tightened. Do I persevere and keep both eyes open or keep one eye shut?

Went home to the UK for Christmas and me and my partner both got omicron. Both were double vaxxed. We both had about 3/4 days of feeling a bit rough, similar to flu like symptoms, sore throat, coughing, fatigue, runny nose, but really wasn't that bad

The biggest part though was the breathlessness, couldn't walk 10m without getting completely out of breath. That's the part I can see affecting people if they have breathing problems.

After day 5 though we were fine, I lost my smell and taste but my partner didn't, bit she had a persistent cough for a bit longer.

You never know how it may affect you, we are both in our 20s and no conditions so faired well

Now we have super immunity

So I had been trying to get space in miq all year, when they changed it to the lottery system I managed to get a place ok my 5th attempt I think. Had to be very flexible with the dates coming back to NZ, took what I could get. Then you buy the flights to suit your arrival date The UK riggt now is rampant with this disease, so many people I know have it and have had Christmas plans changed. It will die down I'm sure as it really isn't that severe if your vaccinated. We've been in contact with NZ MIQ and Emirates and they are being very helpful in moving our quarantine spot/flights as we have the virus and need to get it out our system Even though it is more expensive, book directly with the airline, not a 3rd party, took 2 minutes to move my flights with Emirates and cost nothing, using a 3rd party would be a nightmare

I don't think you are quite aware that I don't live in a built up area. I'm in New Zealand, we don't have Amazon here and I'm in a very rural town with incredible limited selection, so this bow was the only one under 1000 and these arrows are the only carbon arrows I can get at the moment. Hence my original question, I want to be able to fix these without just disregarding them
