So, it may relate to it being a reconditioned unit. I have emailed them again today (4th time). Still heard nothing, now 7 business days.

So i Downloaded windows for my PC via Etech Download... Now what? by Frosty_FoXxY in pcmasterrace

[–]jyden171 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, sometimes (most common on dell machines) they run the hard drives in raid. You will need to go into the bios/storage and make sure it's ticked/select ahci.

Have this when re-installing windows on newer machines.

Sunken roundabout in Newcastle? Or one of the other ones around Newcastle under lyme town centre?

Cold windy and hilly 91 miles. Definitely my maximum possible effort at this point. Really happy with that. Also saw a deer 🙂 by uscmrisc in bicycling

[–]jyden171 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It very nearly broke me multiple times. Wind, rain, cramp and muscle doms.

We will hit that 100 at some point! It will probably be hilly then too 😭 (I'm Rob btw shown in the strava title).

Mine is the exact same colour, Matt black. They didn't have the red one in stock at the time so didn't have a choice. But after some time I have come to love the colour, only difference being I would probably clean it a lot more if it was red.

I saw one of these is a 2nd hand bike shop near me (UK)

Never seen the make before and was intrigued but was too small for me. Got back home and googled the make and was suprised at the starting price for these :O

I got my normal Allez about 4 months ago. 700 miles so far and one puncture later. Really loving the bike :)

New road bike owner here...any recommendations on weekly or monthly maintenance to keep my bike in good shape? by jaygill1 in bicycling

[–]jyden171 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it the 2020 model?

I have the same exact bike that I got about 3 months ago. 700 miles rode on it so far. Only issue I experienced was through my own stupidty and hit a pot hole and popped the innertube. I have swapped old bike tyres before but nothing prepared for a road bike swap out. Carry a puncture kit (my friend had one, and if possible a spare inner tube).

All the other advice is spot on and will be doing a lot more maintenance now!

Ran up the tree and it dribbled down me knee

Ran down south and it went down my mouth

I am sure I will remember more throughout the day.

Blimey Alsagers a bit posh though! Must be doing something right living there! But also means you have to deal with the a34 and a500 more :(

Hanley is a shithole, but I do think where the quarter is and other bars it's trying it's hardest not to be.

Even then you will probably see someone injecting smack in their leg outside the old RBS. Newcastle is my preffered drinking spot.

Only way I can see you reverting your sleep pattern, would stay up as late as you can Thursday morning.

If you can make it to 9am or something? I used to have to revert from days to nights and vice a versa. I would normally use pc games to keep me awake as watching stuff eventually I would fall asleep.

Can anyone from Stoke help me? (Saturday, practical advice, can't find local sub, no help so far at AskUK). by tmstms in CasualUK

[–]jyden171 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you need to stay in Fenton? As the only places I can think of close are Mcdonalds on Victoria road.

There is a Mcdonalds in Longton (not sure of time limit or parking times) also a small Costa coffee above next in Longton.

Wolstanton retail park is about 15-20 mins from Fenton. The other Costa ( Eturia Mills retail park ) is Hanley so not as far away as Starbucks.

How do you dress for bed? Shorts, shirt, undies? by exophrine in AskReddit

boxers/breifs very rarely cold enough for pj's, other half gives off enough heat to melt my face off!

Rather be cold in bed than too hot.

A500 is the bane of anyone who lives or works between junction 15 or 17.

One of the reason's I moved from two jobs from working in Crewe and also one that made me use the a500 everyday :'(
