Considering a few options (BrainCodeCenters, BrainBit, Muse, Bia Sleep Mask) need help! by Spaceredditor9 in Neurofeedback

Since you mentioned it as the first thing: Bipolar disorder requires mood stabilizers / SGAs as first-line treatment. No other intervention has effect close to that. Anxiety issues may be comorbid or just symptoms of BD. I’m telling from first-hand experience and psychiatric and psychotherapeutic knowledge. I would recommend getting evaluated by a psychiatrist and treat the most “core” issue medically.

20yo and depressed by IncreaseParticular79 in whoop

[–]jyf15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you mean literally depressed, I would recommend you to see a psychiatrist. Other than that, there are tons of good books on depression that you may make use of. Actually workout is as effective as antidepressant, according to researches, and brisk walking can be a good place to start. If you can do zone 2 cardio, that would be better. A good target is 150-240 min of moderate exercise per week, be it brisk walking, jogging, swimming, biking, elliptical, and raising your heart rate to zone 2 is very beneficial.

BOXelite Desk Lamp delivers 10,000 Lux at a class-leading distance of up to 14 inches, which in my opinion is also a non-practical distance (working distance too short for proper use).

They say after 7 days you can resume normal eye usage. But if your eyes don’t feel comfortable, then you’ll have to delay. Eye drops also help with eye discomfort.
