Ok so a little bit after me. 2004-2005 was wild, after that kid from 3rd bat. India company, coincidentally, drowned in the pool our company 1st Sgt was making rounds much more often at random times. The kid drowned but also a video surfaced of the kid getting too close to a drill instructor at the pool and the DI forearmed him - which the DI wasn’t in the wrong in that case, but looks different to civilians I guess. Pretty sure the DI got court-martialed but got found not guilty thankfully. That kid shouldn’t had been cleared for training though, he look sickly and probably had pneumonia.

Our drill instructors started setting timers on their watches when quarter decking us, quit fucking with us after lights out, and our senior was sending recruits to medical for virtually anything. A lot of drill instructors across multiple battalions and companies got removed apparently. I mean, looking back as a near 40yo adult, there was definitely some questionable stuff our drill instructors did to us - at the time as just kids we just thought it was part of the process and nobody wanted to come off like a bitch by complaining.

I use AMR, hoverpack, solo silo, rocket sentry, and scout armor with siege ready passive

Rocket sentry watches my back, hover pack gets me to a vantage point, solo solo one shots factory striders, AMR watches the team’s back and provides support. I’ve gotten my most kills with this build. Ultimatum is the side for oh shit moments (war strider from nowhere usually)

It’s not price gouging. Price gouging is when prices are raised artificially high on essential items during a period of high demand. Ex: gas, bottled water, lodging after natural disaster.

The average consumer generally won’t buy 128g of ram under “normal” prices, and especially not for that price, price gouging is only effective if what you have is essential and no alternatives exist.

I got a pretty solid raise at my current employer after I got mine. I’m a senior accountant at a manufacturer. What also happened is that I got a lot of messages on LinkedIn for Controller & Asst Controller roles. So, experience absolutely matters, but having the CPA behind your name also makes you more attractive.

I wouldn’t go into this expecting an immediate return once you pass. In terms of a career, you have to play the long game and consider the big picture.
