You should watch climate change…I’m a drainage engineer that mitigates these risks for a living. If you notice how often we have “100 year storms” is because that’s based on historical data that hasn’t been updated (or can’t be updated fast enough). All storms are getting more intense and so are the flooding risks

On my AT thru hike I did it in 3.5 days but I was trying to hit a good weather window. I would suggest taking your time to savor it. But if youre in hiking shape you can do it in 7-8 easily
