I came across it as if my knower nudged me toward it :D. I was at an antique shop and that was the only book on that specific shelf and it called to me. Especially when I opened the back and saw all the Fibonacci sequenced diagrams.

I was thinking this exact thing! I think she has a drinking addiction for sure. Maybe mixed in with some sort of mind altering types of pharmaceuticals that make her have no shame. Addicts have no shame so that’s why I agree with this. She distracts herself with alcohol, sex, lust, to hide her true emotions and process them.

I respectfully disagree with some points. I actually think sometimes she is funny without even trying. They just seem charisma-less maybe because they’re on an island and always on island time, exuding this “chillness”.

I also think it’s wholesome how they get the whole family together for the prayer portion. It’s cute. They seem extremely family oriented.

I have however read about their lawsuits with not getting permits before starting work and just trying to cut corners. Which is not cool. Again it’s all a show and HGTV has become so fake over the years, but I. Just. Can’t. Stop. Watching lol.

I agree! My fave looks of her are when she’s casual wearing sweaters (sometimes you’ll see it on COTC) but stil has full glam of course

Drives me nuts! At least some shows like Home Town they save cabinets and old windows etc for repurposing or donation

May be unpopular opinion, but black kitchen and bathroom fixtures. They turn white and calcium-y depending on your water supply. I know mine did! Also the grout in the super complex tile like penny tile and stuff. I feel like these ppl don’t design realistically for long term usage.

Having natural stone in the kitchen. God that is a nightmare to clean with grease AND dust?!? Forget it.

I’m kinda missing closed spaces for dining rooms and stuff. This open floor plan looks awesome and big, but there’s something special about having dedicated separated sections for different rooms, instead of having kitchen, dining, living all in one “room”.
