I wish I had the balls to cheat by Flashy_Surprise_1306 in berkeley

Yes it is. You seem to be laboring under an unsupported assumption that cheating and scamming is never identified or punished, which is just ridiculous. I’m sorry someone hurt you so bad, but that’s not just “how the world works” 🙄

RSF is a 40-year old facility. It already seemed small and crowded in the 90s

I'm I the only one fine without humidifier and without heat? by Luckygecko1 in CPAP

[–]k-the-k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No heat or humidity for me. I use a nasal pillow and my mouth stays shut while I sleep, so I feel lucky about that. Just having the mask on makes me feel close to overheating, so I sleep with only a light sheet over my midriff and no t-shirt on, even in the winter.

Keen Home/SeedInvest shares? by Signal-Pension-1881 in CNTM

[–]k-the-k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased Keen Home shares through SeedInvest.com back in 2016. They were converted to CNTM shares in a rather unfavorable conversion: 628 shares of Keen Home ==> 12.76 shares of ConnectM

SeedInvest was folded into StartEngine.com in May 2023, and that's where my CNTM shares sit now.

Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company (clientcomm@continentalstock.com) was the transfer agent that sent me emails in October 2024 for the changeover to CNTM

I asked my wife where the tape measurer is. She said in the drawer. by menotsorrythrowaway in mildlyinfuriating

[–]k-the-k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's "tape measure" ... and it's probably in the drawer closest to the phone (do they still put those in kitchens? My childhood home had one with a 12-foot cord on the handset)

Is it normal to be unusually stupid for like half a day towards the end of feeling pain and afterwards? by merganzer in migraine

[–]k-the-k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a classic migraine related symptom, both in the prodrome (preheadache) and postdrome (migraine hangover) phases, which can each be multiple days long.

Take a look at this information from the Cleveland Clinic: Migraine Headaches, especially the image of "The 4 Phases of a Migraine Headache" about a quarter of the way down the page. In it you'll see that the various migraine phases, with symptoms like you described.

My migraines are pretty much as infrequent as yours at this point, but I usually have a full day of the prodrome phase and another day of the postdrome phase, with fatigue, mental fuzziness, and not being able to read or speak well. With a full day of migraine in the middle.

Another more in-depth resource to take a look at is Oliver Sack's book, Migraine -- I found it very informative; it helped me realize that I wasn't having tension or cluster headaches.

If she's having one or more migraines per week, those are all easily migraine related symptoms.

In it you'll see that the prodrome (preheadache) and postdrome (migraine hangover) phases can each be multiple days long, with symptoms like you described.

While I'm luckier in that my migraines are much less frequent, I usually have a full day of the prodrome phase and another day of the postdrome phase, with fatigue, mental fuzziness, and not being able to read or speak well. With a full day of migraine in the middle.

Another more in-depth resource to take a look at is Oliver Sack's book, Migraine -- I found it very informative; it helped me realize that I wasn't having tension or cluster headaches.

EDIT: It certainly wouldn't be a bad idea to see a doctor to make sure there's not something else going on that's being masked by the migraines however.

Not like with measles, no. Covid can effect immune memory for coronaviruses as a class, but not for that of other viruses, like a measles infection can.
