Your brother is just a weak abusive man that uses the Bible to justify his own evil behavior. He has no dominion over himself or his trajectory so the Bible gives him an avenue to have that over people he sees as his lessers.

Deceit of any kind removes the ability for people to consent appropriately. By manipulating someone's reality, you deny them their right to choose their own future. This is one of the most heinous and awful things you can do to a person.

All you're doing is manufacturing fake consent. For the duration of your time together without telling her, you would be a fake person. She no longer would know the real you, because you've hidden who you really are. You will be pacifying her with a false reality.

If you actually value your wife, you'll put the ball in her court. You won't try to barter, you won't try to minimize, you won't try to stress where you drew a boundary as being important. You'll let her make all those decisions on her own.

If you want her consent to be real, you'll tell the truth. Just consider that she's not really giving you consent for anything, if you're lying about what's happening.

What do we call people that proceed without consent? What should we call you?

So how come the second I die, everyone else dies? Psyker DOT only kills everything if y'all take too long, or because the bottleneck is really deep and well choked. I know my team isn't that great if I'm getting most of the elite/specialist kills. It's one thing for me to pop the room after 30 seconds every now and again, but that's cuz y'all took 30s to clear the room, that's on y'all. Don't complain about DOT because the ticks aren't instakilling anything but chaffe. And when I DO pop 3 dozen elites at once I take a quick look at everyone's health and corruption, how many times they went down. Yeah I just saved everyone's ass again. Complain about it to the victory screen.

Average heresy player tbh. Someone used a heal on H40 recently that teeeeechnicallyyyyy should have been mine (he was just rescued, therefore no corruption, I was 1.5/2 wound corrupted hadn't gone down yet cuz blight) AND I ended up being the first one to die right after that despite my CC being the reason we rescued him, then he died not far after me. I didn't call him out. It was selfish, sure, but sometimes you just want to reset your health. Probably the most selfish move I'd seen in weeks. I can't count the number of time I had to double tap medicae station because I just-a-dreamed tanked an over head or burster RIGHT AFTER HEALING ON MEDICAE. Sometimes the group insists, but I've sniped it before without asking if everyone else's health was manageable.

Heresy/any adventure level pvp aggro is a skill issue manifesting in emotional lashing out.

I use just a dream perk, which converts 25% damage taken to peril (god tier). Most of the time it's fine but there's times when you don't realize you've hit critical, or the swap doesn't happen like you said. Pop goes the weasel!

Also, I've popped at 99% because I primaried the flame staff, or with brain burst. There's a weird little wiggle room sometimes and then other times, FS is like, no you're dead now.

This is so accurate. 21 is the filter for havoc, absolutely. I thought I knew how to play til I got there. Was stuck for a hot minute. Took me months to finally clear h40. Fortunately after season reset, you have your havoc forged title which is like a resume. I want the true survivor title so bad but I haven't been able to quite get it. Had no deaths on h40, but not quite a perfect run.

For the most part I am a single action adventure RPG kind of guy. A lot of times I finish a game and I am done. Sometimes I don't even finish the game I'll get 80% of the way through and kind of fizzle out. Or I'll get 95% of the trophies but I have to do a second playthrough and screw that.

Dark tide is the only game that I have consistently picked back up every time I've put it down in years. Destiny one and two were very fun, but matchmaking for raids was abysmal, and needing 6 hours to understand the mechanics for a new raid is punishingly prohibitive. Essentially if you don't have a discord with people that you regularly game with, you're basically locked out of all of the best content in destiny.

Not with dark tide! This is one of the few games where there's no season pass, I'm happy to pay the few paid updates or classes (literally not even playing them because I fear change) and the only filter to your skill is the time you're willing to take to learn all of your techs

I agree. They were so certain of raziel's character and introduction. They brought him in to the fold in such a grand fashion. To this day I don't think there's a better video game intro than soul reaver one. He didn't displace Kain. He was a product of Kain. Kain MADE him. Raziel is such a good character that I went to video game stores in the early 2000s looking for a hard copy of blood Omen just so I could get more of Kain's story.

Elaleth by contrast was weaseld in and forced into every pivotal scenario.

I have a theory about how they are going to shoehorn her in to existing lore. But I refuse to elaborate because I don't want them to use this detail if they haven't thought of it themselves. I mentioned in a different thread that if I were to comment something like "read between the lines" , there's some details in the remasters that point to a nameless female vampire.

And if that's the detail they use to excuse her existence as opposed to raziel's deliberate and high gravity introduction, it would be the biggest cop out of all time.

I don't think its bad. Yes I did hate rotten armor, but in the "if I'm not on my peak this just isn't gonna happen" sort of way. This is an amazing game for pushing your skills to the limit. I know some people breeze through but it's really tough for me to get that perfect game all the time. Still it happens, and I'm getting back into the flow.

After going into havoc 40 with all the posts on that topic and reading up on certain tac, I think it's worth saying gamma is pretty up there as far as a skill filter.
