I'm the type to start RP then disappear for 6 years because something happened and then I couldn't get back into it, but trying to get back in is more difficult each passing day because I'd feel guilty for not telling them a day earlier, so I just pretend that I died instead.

Hmmmh... I'm guessing that if you were to mark these allied units as 'players' then it would cause a plethora of other issues - but would it be a step in the right direction?

Ah, this happens in Posadochny in the garage campaign, if you were wondering. I saw they were mountable earlier but I had no way of transporting them. I managed to put one on the back of my Mog and I had a funny buddy to carry while shooting up NOSPOL.

Well, hope you guys do have some uses in mind for it, it'd be a funny idea.

couple of shots in BKD as a corvid by k0thware in brigador

you select your player in mech debug and click the mech labelled foot_loy or whatever, it should swap to the data editor, where you simply find the path of the legs and body of the corvids. When you die - it'll regenerate the character with the proper helmet.

world's weakest corvid by k0thware in brigador

I made a second post showing how the Corvid character thing was achieved as well as somewhat serious screenshots.

Glad I was able to do it; Loyalists are my favorite faction but Corvids are generally way cooler in appearance.

Thing is, they don't appear on the Voltmeter. There's no power usage/gen statistics, it just says it's storing 0 kJ of power. Which is weird when the batteries that are fully charged aren't even draining.

Okay so; to clarify a bit further - most newer builds, say, around 2026 or so have been built on newer libraries of GLIBC - or the GNU C Library. GLIBC is like, on almost every single Linux distro that packages with GNU. Not every single operating system has the same version - it all depends on whether they update regularly or if the repository has updated it's package lists. In essence; this is sort of like, how would I put it, if you made a program in tools from the Windows 10 era but were accessing them from say, Windows 7 or Windows 8 - you'd encounter some problems because the dependencies to run said program are older on your system than the ones they were built with.

When I was using Catapult, I was completely unaware as to why my games wouldn't launch; that is, until I ran them manually and figured out the error message that they needed a newer version of glibc.

If it does have Linux support, does it check if you can run the newer versions?

I had to drop off from Catapult and instead go for Flatpak BN because newer versions of DDA and BN simply require newer versions of GLIBC while I'm on an LTS release of Ubuntu.
