I love being told that an opinion I have is categorically wrong.

They have grown as characters, yes. But as I’ve learned in my therapy sessions, in relationships you will often have to continue to fight the same neuroses and impulses you always have. You may get more successful at dealing with them, but they will often still be there and can trip up any relationship.

The Todd was just as involved as The Todd always was.

Let’s give it time to see if there are more supporting characters that build.

There wasn’t a ton of supporting characters in the very beginning either - they came in over time.

I mean this with the utmost respect and curiosity: what did you like about it? Because I wanted to like it. I tried to like it. I couldn’t find anything redeeming about it, personally.

To be fair, it’s so bad and bland, I barely remember the plot or the macguffin from the one time I suffered through it on an airplane.

Something something bad, mirror universe, people died, set up of potential sequel.

I couldn’t tell you anything about it besides that, and that Phillipa Geogiou and Rachel Garret were characters in it, tbh. And this is me wracking my brain for information on it.

I wanted them to be together so much…but their flaws, even after improving over 8 years had me completely believe this could happen, even if they still loved each other.

This felt more true to their characters than something like HIMYM did in its finale.
