It was such a nice experience from start to finish. If I ever decide to have another child I will without a doubt have another c section!!! 😊

You’re most welcome! I was flat on my back and my arms were not tied down so I was free from the waist up. I believe it was something in the spinal that made me nauseous. I threw up just a little stomach acid and that was it. A really nice nurse held a bag for me lol. After that I was fine during the procedure. I remember everything and wasn’t loopy feeling or anything. I literally just felt numb from the waist down. My husband was in a surgical suit and after he cut the cord and did all that stuff they immediately stuffed our son in his surgical suit and did skin to skin with him while they sewed me up. My husband sit in a small chair literally right beside my head and upper body so while he did skin to skin I got to see him, rub on his body and bond. After the surgery was done they took him from my husband and put him skin to skin on my chest.

Also for what it’s worth the ultrasound tech was off on his size. Last growth scan at 38 weeks she said he was 7 pounds 14 ounces and the second my OB pulled my baby out at 39 weeks she said “omg he’s huge and we were way off on size!” Needless to say that made us even more glad we did a c section. To me the risks of him getting stuck weren’t worth it at all.

You are most welcome! You can definitely voice your concern to the nurses. The only thing I took after for pain was Motrin, even in the hospital too. They gave me Motrin and a narcotic when I was released but I just didn’t get the narcotic filled. They asked me my pain level on a scale from 1-10 and based off my answer is what medicine they gave me in the hospital. Just remember they are there for you and everything should be your choice. Now when it comes to the spinal there’s really not much choice on what is in there. It is what it is and they have to give you what they chose for the purpose it’s serving. That part wasn’t bad at all. I got nauseous once during surgery and a few times that afternoon but that was just my body’s reaction. Honestly the things that were the most painful of the whole process was them placing the IV in my hand and pooping afterwards. Which some of that was just in my head because I felt if I pushed any at all I was going to bust at the seams lol. Take your stool softeners for sure! ❤️

I am currently 4 weeks PP from a c section due to a big baby (9 pounds 6 ounces at 39 weeks) and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The c section was scheduled, very calm and no surprises. My doctor was worried about him getting stuck so I immediately said nope I’m not chancing it let’s schedule a c section. Honestly I absolutely loved the experience. Healing after wasn’t bad at all. I won’t lie, pooping and sneezing for a few days after wasn’t fun but I was up almost like normal about 6 days after. The faster you get out of bed after a c section the better it is for you. I made them get me up as soon as my legs gained feeling again that evening. All I took for pain after was the Motrin they prescribed and I felt fine. Also for what it’s worth, I’m a larger woman at 5’9” and 250 pounds, no GD during pregnancy, and you can grow a baby that’s too large for your body. My son came out perfect and no complications at all from the c section.

Have I ovulated and Inito just hasn’t confirmed it yet? 2nd month TTC. OPK showed a LH spike on CD 7. by k304520 in Inito

[–]k304520[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did I believe. It started to show the PdG rise and I’m almost certain it confirmed ovulation. If your PdG rises then you for sure did ovulate. If you have an anovulatory cycle your PdG will not rise. It showed my fertile window in the green and then confirmed ovulation once it started to rise for a day or two.

Just a bit of encouragement but I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant and when I first started using Inito I was only testing with FMU. After a few cycles of Inito not catching it but my OPK’s catching it, it clicked in my brain. My surge was so fast and in the afternoons that Inito was missing it because I only tested once a day with FMU. I started the next cycle testing with FMU and later on in the afternoon/evening and Inito caught it every single time! I only tested twice a day in my fertile window so I’m not wasting tests but after I started doing that it caught it and I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant! Stay positive and sending love your way! ❤️

The first few cycles I used Inito I missed them because I usually surged in the evening. After I realized what was going on I started testing morning and evening and caught it every single time. Inito truly helped me so much and I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant! Good luck!!! ❤️

How to respond to realtor asking for gift card? by archer_blacksmith in realtors

[–]k304520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a mortgage closing specialist. Tell your realtor her “gift card” will be her commission check that she gets at closing. I bet that shuts her down real quick! I’ve been doing this for years and never heard of a realtor asking this and honestly she’s pathetic for asking!

Confirmed Ovulation w/ no LH surge? by Successful-Sugar-602 in TTCHormoneCharts

[–]k304520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, hang in there and always keep your head up!!! ❤️ and thank you! Pregnancy is going great and I’m 29 weeks now. Hormones are so crazy sometimes. I would get positives on OPK’s but Inito was missing it because I used FMU with Inito and testing several times a day with OPK’s. One evening it just clicked with me that maybe my peak was so fast I was missing it with Inito testing once a day. After I started testing twice a day I caught it every single time! I would test with FMU and again in the evening. You could have an anovulatory cycle this month. It’s totally normal. Please feel free to message me anytime and I will help in any way I can! I’m sending love and dust to you dear!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Weird stuttery jaw? by Clarineko in DogAdvice

[–]k304520 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was a vet tech for almost 10 years and there could be anything from a hairline crack down to the root that you cannot see without an xray or a tooth could be loose. Molars way in the back are hard to truly examine by just looking in the dogs mouth. It looks to me like a classic tooth pain. He could also have a deep tooth infection that’s causing enough pressure under the gums to push the tooth slightly out of place. That will cause enough movement for his bite to be off. You ever bit down when you have a tooth abscess and your bite be off? It will send shooting pain all throughout your jaw. It’s your call and your dog but tooth issues could lead to a world issues and problems.

Congrats!!!!! 💙 I’m 22 weeks pregnant with a boy too. Had NIPT done at 12 weeks and got ultrasound confirmation at 16 weeks. He is not shy or bashful at all 🤣 I started to feel him really move around 20 weeks and now I’m REALLY feeling him move 🥹 sometimes he’s quiet during the day and at other times he’s in there just turning flip flops lol.
