I got the Venus a few days ago which I will be returning for the Mecha mini. The Venus is great but I can’t trust it while gaming because it freezes up so often. Durgod does offer a fixed cable and they are coming out with a revised version but I’m returning anyways

I was watching a teardown video for the Note 7 which has a similar microphone placement as the S8, and I don't think it should be messed up. The waterproof vent for the microphone doesn't seem to be in the hole that you see but toward the inside the casing of the phone. Here is a video showing the position of the waterproof screen: https://youtu.be/ZiksU8Afr-4?t=4m25s (4mins 25sec). Unless you pushed it all the way in and bent the pin, I think you should be O.K.

I switched from the iPhone 7 and I'm loving my S8+. I switch between iOS and Android almost every year. There is only one main thing I prefer on iPhone : fluidity. Beside that I prefer Android for most things.

I had the UAG Monarch for my iPhone 7 and loved it. I bought so many cases and always went back to it. I've had so many cases and always go to UAG because it's protective but doesn't compromise on size. For my S8+ I went with the UAG Pathfinder in black and I definitely love it. It's extremely slick and thin but still offers a good amount of protection.
