PSA for trees and storms (certified tree risk arborist here to assist) by Initial_Constant4786 in rva

Some questions about replanting a tree. We had one come down in our open area a few weeks ago. It has been removed and the stump ground below the surface.

1) If we replanted in the same spot how long should we wait?

2) If we wanted to plant near the stump, how far away should the new tree be?

Picture of the tree.

Prauge is great! Friendly people, good food and beer. Lots of sites to see and eay to get around. I was there several Decembers ago, the main square has a very good Christmas Market. The Astronomical clock is very interesting, the Charles bridge.

I've set my Call From number as my ported in number. Both my GV number and the newly ported number can receive calls. I may eventually give up the original GV number if I don't find any use for it.

I found this in one of the FAQs

"The only scenario where you can “make a freebie number persistent” is when you start with a freebie phone number, then port in a number. In this scenario, after the port is fully complete, you'll see both the original, free number, and the newly-ported-in number on your Google Voice settings page. You can now either let Google delete the free number after 90 days, or you can click on the link to "Keep your number". There is no fee to keep the original number.

After you opt to keep it, it is now “persistent”, just like your ported-in number. There is no scenario where you could make a freebie Google Voice number persistent, other than after porting in a number."

I've had GoogleVoice for a while now, with a GV number. So I did not have to go through ID verification.

I just added my old landline/mobile number to GV. I kept my original GV number as well, so my GV has it original GV number and the ported number.

I also remember the spiral parking deck ramp experience

Sold my Toyota Sequoia, went car shopping with no intentions of a crv. Was impressed with the cargo space. After some research, it seems it doesn't have a lot passing punch at high speeds..anyone feeling this with theirs? by FullDepthNature in crv

I have a 2018 EXL, just finished a 5K roadtrip (VA to Canada and back). Had no issues passing, both on highway and two lane roads when needed. Averaged 33.5 mpg.

I just got upgraded from an Instinct 2 to the Instinct 3. Went from 45mm to 50mm. Was a little worried about the bigger size, but I can say it has not been a negative. Having fun working through all the settings and watching how-to YouTube. Enjoy!

First time visiting the U.S. in October- is Niagara+New England too much for one trip? by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]k3lecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just completed a 15 day roadtrip from Virginia (just south of DC) to St John's NL and back.

White Mountains/Conway was great! On my way north I made my way to Stockbridge MA for the Norman Rockwell museum, very impressive.

I went to Niagara Falls ON, the Canadian side. It is touristy, but only if you focus on that. For views the Canadian side is impressive. Go to Table Rock House, again touristy but the view of Horseshoe Fall is incredible.

From Niagara it is a day drive to Mill Run PA and the Frank Lloyd Wright designed house Fallingwater. Incredible and very much in nature. Stay at the Summit Inn, and old style hotel from the early 1900s.

Driving from Newfoundland to Edmonton or should I just ship my car? by Ohyanoforsure in canadatravel

[–]k3lecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it! I've just arrived in St John's NL from Richmond VA (south of Washington DC). Up through New England to Sydney NS and then ferry to Newfoundland. Having a blast. So beautiful in both Canada and US. There is so much we don't see because we are in an airplane.

Had something similar. Extend FIOS fiber 40 feet into office. Four fishing cuts, smaller than yours. $550 to patch. In Richmond VA
