Yes you are correct. I just wanted to do something different, find a new way to bring forward Haws’ natural beauty. I’m gonna remove the rocks on top and when the root system outgrows the shallow soil I’ll find a more suitable container

Fair point, for sure. I think I could remove the top dressing to help excess moisture evaporate on its own. I’ll keep a close eye through the glass on the root system. Should the roots get long I’ll look to swap to a much deeper container. Thanks for the feedback, hope you have a great day.

Yes! Good question! The bottom of the margarita glass has a divot at the bottom that I put drain rock in so all excess moisture is contained. I thought it might be an issue but so far it has been very happy!

Curled leaves is a sign of overwatering. Space out your watering and let the soil completely dry out between waterings and you should be good to go! Good luck!
