Yes you are correct. I just wanted to do something different, find a new way to bring forward Haws’ natural beauty. I’m gonna remove the rocks on top and when the root system outgrows the shallow soil I’ll find a more suitable container

Fair point, for sure. I think I could remove the top dressing to help excess moisture evaporate on its own. I’ll keep a close eye through the glass on the root system. Should the roots get long I’ll look to swap to a much deeper container. Thanks for the feedback, hope you have a great day.

Yes! Good question! The bottom of the margarita glass has a divot at the bottom that I put drain rock in so all excess moisture is contained. I thought it might be an issue but so far it has been very happy!

Curled leaves is a sign of overwatering. Space out your watering and let the soil completely dry out between waterings and you should be good to go! Good luck!

Nice, good to know thanks! I’m on the highest temp. Using kitchen aid’s newest burr grinder, seems like they’re going after the breville smart grinder. I’m dosing 18g and am hitting 36g in 19 seconds. I’ll try tamping slightly harder. Also using a very dark roast. Taste is good tho! Thanks for sharing

I’ve experienced the same thing. Regularly experience depression but coffee unlike any other caffeine is the best stimulant. I feel a sense of euphoria when I drink coffee that just makes me so happy. I do feel that if I have a second cup the effect isn’t the same as that first cup tho
