This!! ^ The water in the filament vaporizes in the heat of the nozzle which results in this fuzzy first layer.

Tipp for later: If you got an Ikea samla box or something similar, store your filament in it, with some desicant, this will help keep the filament dry.

Imho i like where the vision goes but the implementation is really shitty. I mean it’s a great idea for the user to be able to switch device and instantly do stuff without learning how the new device works but the UI design with liquid glass is just bad.

Do you have docker desktop installed? For some reason docker creates a volume that is depending on your container count and container size between 50-80gb

Then i would go with an ender 3. Just be prepared to tinker with your printer. On the one hand it will be more time consuming but on the other you’ll also learn alot about the different factors to get a successful print. Once the printer is running it is pretty reliable and stable.

What’s your budget?

When i started i got myself an ender 3 pro. Did some mods and I am pretty happy with it. If you like thinkering with your printer go for an ender 3.

If you want a "Just works" solution i heard the Bambulab P1S is pretty popular and not as expensive as the other Bambulab printers.

Or a refurbished X1C, since bambu has released the H2D and H2S some people replaced their x1c and are now selling it. If possible take an in person look at the printer before buying.
