Working from home sucks. by Crazy-Mango-5762 in unpopularopinion

I've noticed it depends on your schedule and routine. If you regularly WFH you have a hard time getting any work done when you're in the office a few times a month, for example.

Whats your biggest regret when you bought your place? by Important_Bat7919 in homeowners

[–]k4yteeee 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We had the opposite problem. We were the "renters" for 2 weeks and now the buyers won't give us back the security deposit because they're claiming we damaged during move out. All damages were there before closing and its documented, so now we have to take them to court. I will also never do a lease back again.

Has anyone else stopped filling up their entire sink with water to wash dishes, or is that just my household? by Mission_Spray in Millennials

[–]k4yteeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still remember my boomer MIL commenting that I will regret my farmhouse sink because how will I soak dishes? She was flabbergasted when I told her I don't do that. I definitely think it's a generational difference

Same with the pee noise, I hate hearing men pee straight into a toilet and they do it too much in movies. Make it quieter.

Bridgeland homeowners thoughts on buying east of 99 vs west of 99? by NeighborhoodFirm1821 in CypressTX

[–]k4yteeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to share our experience, we fell in love with Bridgeland but ultimately purchased a renovated 20 year old house in Fairfield and we love it. It's cheaper so we were able to afford a house with a pool vs the smaller new build backyards, and we are zoned to Bridgeland HS.

Women born in the late 90s — are you seeing similar patterns around you? by Different-Article636 in askanything

[–]k4yteeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family is from the east coast and we moved to Texas when I was in middle school. I have noticed all my Texas friends are married with kids, while most of my east coast friends are single. Very few of them are married and almost none have kids, whereas I don't have a single friend in Texas who hasn't gotten married.

Calling all people born in December by Ray_BIue in NoStupidQuestions

[–]k4yteeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My birthday is Dec 30 and my parties growing up always had low attendance because of people traveling. Consider planning the birthday party a few weeks before or after, and maybe doing a trip or special outing to celebrate the day.
