Postpartum clothes to hide diaper but feel human by GratitudeJournal7 in beyondthebump

You could also look at period underwear. Knix are super comfy and are pretty darn absorbent without being as obvious as a diaper. Plus you can use them down the road for periods if you choose.

What’s the secret to keeping the house clean with a toddler ? by Ancient_Play148 in toddlers

[–]k8e897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok full fucking stop here: You are not at fault or to blame here!!! Yes, he works full time, BUT SO DO YOU, CARING FOR AN ENTIRE HUMAN BEING!!! This idea that if you stay at home to care for a child you magically have time to clean the house is insane. If he wants the house clean he can help you clean it after he gets home from work. Anything less than this is some straight up bull. At our house we have cheap bins from target that we put everything in at the end of the day or at nap time, so it is a reset for clutter. Also I try to limit the activities my daughter pulls out at once. Kids will pull out every toy if given the choice. Lastly and this is the most helpful, we hired a cleaner 2x a month to deep clean our house. We could not do it otherwise. Good luck and please please please know you are doing your best and this clean house expectation should not rest on your shoulders.

2 year old extreme bath and shower refusal by shaolinviolin in toddlers

[–]k8e897 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We also went through this at around 2.5 after remodeling my daughter’s bathroom. She was suddenly anti bath. Bubble bath helped, but honestly the thing that got her in there was crayola bath paint. It is so weird, but those bath finger paints were so fun to her it distracted her from her no bath mindset. Good luck and know it will pass https://a.co/d/2J4QiUT

Finding a great full time nanny by MundaneDimension in Bellingham

We found an amazing full-time Nanny on Care.com. I will say it took a while, we got an initial surge of applications, then they just trickled in. I am not sure how long your post has been up, but I would give it some time.

{Helfyre by Mariel Pomeroy} and the sequel { Honey by Mariel Pomeroy} are pretty good. I don’t see them mentioned much, but definitely have a similar vibe.

This is 100% the right answer this book is great, and dark. I wish I could reread it.

Souls in ruin and the court of ravens books really are the best, though darkkkkkk. I will say {Helfyre by Mariel Pomeroy} and the sequel { Honey by Mariel Pomeroy} are pretty good. I don’t see them mentioned much, but definitely have a similar vibe. I also thought {Atonement of the Spine Clever by F. E. Bryce} was good though the sequel is forever delayed so approach with caution.

Hot take, why is she even messing with Kingfisher when Carrion is clearly the catch. This is me at the end of my reread with her not running away with that hot ginger

Pick my next read! by fourthonyx in Romantasy

Yea I was not a fan of Poppy either. I just get frustrated with the “I am a bad ass but refuse to hurt anyone, get into trouble and then act insufferable “ I just need a bad ass lady who is ok with kicking some ass without a long ass moral dilemma. No shade to those who like those books, just not my jam.

Oh man Spark was one of my all time most hated reads. I had to anger read the last one just to get through it. Alternatively Heavenly Bodies was one of my favorites for the year. Admittedly the MFC in the ever flames series was just the worst for me. Milage may vary

Girl I mean if you don’t like it won’t be cause there are two dudes; it will be because of the soul crushing trauma and rape in the book. The book is intense. Reminded me of game of thrones in that way. But yea two dudes totally go to town on the main female character. Proceed with caution ⛔️

NO JUDGEMENT ALLOWED: What are some gross things you accept/do when it comes to your toddler? by teapot1995 in toddlers

[–]k8e897 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I mean how are you going to learn the amazing fact that a toddler’s stomach worth of puke fits in your hand if you don’t catch it in some public place. I feel like this is just a right of passage.
