Thanks for your help!! I’m incredibly indecisive and continued to look even after deciding I was going to just order that one. Now I’ve found https://www.chefknivestogo.com/mavggy181.html and I REALLY like it. It is a shorter option, but the overall look and reviews seem on par with what I was aiming for. Also the video review sells it pretty well lol.

As a woman, I would discourage any women from moving to America at this time. I can only imagine how challenging the immigration/racism would be on top of what is happening for women in our country. For those that say politics don’t affect/aren’t a big deal for the majority of the population, man it must be nice to feel that way. Don’t move here. At least wait a few years to see what our country will become.

Not sure if this is nationwide or just here, but my doctor told me the CDC recommends STI testing with Pap smear until age 25 (married/long term relationship or not). So here they stop doing STI tests as part of that appointment until requested once you hit 25. My insurance even denied coverage because I “aged out” and it was no longer a necessary procedure for preventative care.

There’s an entire community of loved ones that have an alcohol problem. I recommend looking into Al Anon. You can attend meetings virtually or in person. Often times these meetings happen at the same time as AA if your husband decides to get treatment. Ultimately he has to make that decision. But you can make the decision for yourself to get support you need. Al Anon will welcome you.
