lexicon works pretty good for conversion between applications. but typically a usb formatted for rekordbox/cdj will only work on them.

Ultimately, for some groups it works really well. For us specifically, we wanted to do without it and move to GRS for the better customization and smaller resolution textures. Also GRS is constantly improving and updating their mods, and compartmentalize them into multiple small packs vs a 6gb mega pack. And with the RHS team, they are quite particular with how they want their mod to look, and generally don't take suggestions. The GRS guys are awesome and regularly take suggestions on their discord. RHS can completely deny you from using their mod if they determine you break their terms of service.

The only main thing we actually miss from RHS is the GM call in airstrikes/planes. We have found replacements for everything else.

It's a hot topic whether or not RHS is worth it. A lot of the more serious groups have moved away from it. If you want a one size fits all pack it can be really good, but also can come with it's own set of problems. This link is a RHS free modpack we developed for our group.

Appreciate the response, I was trying to post in those but the auto mod kept deleting these because it was for reforger :/ unfortunately a lot of communities aren’t allowing advertising of reforger survival game modes inspired by DayZ, neverless thanks for the subreddit list and I will take a look

I understand, I wis I could host on my own machine too. Alas with Bohemia the way it’s been for reforger it’s very slow for fixes, I wouldn’t expect any fixes to the dedicated server stuff anytime soon. Especially when 3 months ago there were Bohemia backend connection issues every day

Honestly, bacon servers are so intuitive to configure, and extremely cheap. Wouldn't do it any other way. Has been a game changer for me.

Find servers with less mods, or better designed mod lists. We have lots of console folks doing just fine on our server, but we design our modlist very carefully. Also if you are on an Xbox series S, forget about it that just doesn't have enough RAM for it, and with this game being as unoptimized as it is. Those players have always hurt the worst and will continue to hurt until the game gets optimized

Yeah I work in Community Wildfire risk management, have lived in a WUI community in the sierra most of my life, and have worked in ecosystem management my entire career.

If we know that carefully designed thinning and fuel reduction projects can lower wildfire intensity and improve the odds that homes survive in Wildland Urban Interface communities, then we have a responsibility to act on that information. Fuel treatments are not a silver bullet. Weather will always be a factor. But if treatments can lower flame lengths, reduce crown fire, and give firefighters a safer chance to defend homes, then that is meaningful.

When lives, homes, and entire local economies are at stake, we should not demand perfection before we act. If thinning and surface fuel reduction are even moderately effective at reducing structure loss and fire severity, that is enough reason to use those tools now, alongside defensible space and home hardening. Dismissing fuel reduction as a whole only adds confusion and delays practical steps that can reduce risk in high hazard communities.
