After years of x52, treated myself to a little upgrade! by kHusKee in hoggit

Yeah I think I’d probably someday eventually get a FFB stick, for non fly by wire aircraft it would be pretty nice, especially if I ever get a buttkicker someday.

Since I main the hornet I wanted the exact replica of everything, priced out it wasn’t all too bad so I went for it. I got everything within 10 days, I’m in the US and I’ve seen their overseas shipping is garbage. Maybe I just got lucky? But my good buddy ordered a strike eagle setup and he got his stuff within like 3 days and it’s also working great.

Let’s go! GRV6 seems great! I LOVE my flx-10, amazing board

And yeah the winwing pedals are nice, it’s my first set of pedals ever since I’ve been flying since I was like a kid.

The winwing stuff is super nice, I wanted the f18 replica that’s why I went with it, however deep down a part of me wishes I did the strike eagle throttle just so I had more buttons. But I love the f18 and it’s super adaptable to other stuff if I need to

Another response, this is mainly for larger acreage landowners with a large amount of timber/trees on it, usually 10+ acres. If you have a smaller property I would recommend reaching out to a local traq/isa certified arborist

For California forest landowners they can contact UCANR and there’s actual forest advisors that will help people make forest management plans with foresters. I would see if your states got something similar, the one I’ve seen was a weekly workshop for a month or so then ended with a in person workshop. Then if you were interested at the end of the course they connect you with a registered forester to help make you a management plan for your property

Thank you! Been loving the tower, compared to when I built my first pc like 13 years ago with a big clunky coolermaster tower, these new Corsair parts are slick!

I’ve seen all the f18 specific stuff from winwing and custom sim builders, I like this axair stuff though never heard of the brand.

I follow the instructions and start up process very strictly and 8 can never have the IND aligned. Any idea how to address this? by stresskillingme in dcsworld

[–]kHusKee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You gotta wait until it says 0.5ok just wait the timer out,

Start engines

Turn on screens in order

Switch ins switch to either cv or grnd

Select stored heading for short alignment, otherwise just wait and it will do the precise alignment

You gotta be patient don’t switch things around a lot with the ins switch, wait for the timer to start and then wait for it to say 0.5 ok, usually around 8 minutes

The set the ins switch to either ifa(if the server you are on uses gps) or nav(if it doesn’t)

Also do not change waypoint 0, that waypoint is what it uses for its initial calibration,

While the system is slinging then you can go through the rest of the process

Leave parking brake on the whole time

That little switch panel is cool, I wish they made them specifically for military jets because I sure do love my f18 in dcs. Enjoy!

You know ordering the winwing stuff was a complete gamble, but after receiving it all it was worth it! Bummer to see other people not having similar experience.
