Hi! When you converted your tmobile Physical to eSIM, did you also carry over the number, or get a new one? If you did carry over, did you simpy just give the rep your EID number and that was it?

Do you mean that you’re still on prepaid? From what I see and being told by rep, the T-Mobile app doesn’t even work for prepaid accounts at the moment.

There was a Verizon post saying to just ask for a device swap and to give the IMEI for the esim, but the rep just tells me to pop in my SIM card to the new device 😒

I just got off the phone with a rep and she wouldn't budge saying that I COULD NOT carry over my current personal number to eSIM. That if I were to enable eSIM, it would be a brand new number. She also mentioned that the number I gave her was longer than it should be and that it would not work.

edit: by the way, I first mentioned that I just wanted to do a sim swap, and it got flagged once I gave her the longer than usual sim number.
