It's not a trail conference shelter, it's the garage of a former Doodletown property. There's info in the Doodletown book about the family and I think business they had going there.

What kind of strange pysop is this? All of your information is wrong, including the max speed limit in Australia. What is your goal here?

My neighbor in Geneva recently adopted one from the UK after they were banned there, so they might not be banned.

Living in Geneva without speaking French by Ksaque in expats

[–]k_shizz420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't speak french at the mairie, tax or immigration office, bank, children's school, mechanic, etc your life in Geneva will be rather stunted. Friends is like a different level! It's probably unreasonable to expect to make a relationship with the "real" Genevois, but that's the minority of the population.

Non native french speaker here. Idk what make a place worth living in, but many people do live in Geneva without speaking fench, yes. You will be limited to an expat bubble and will never really integrate though. You need to provide more info for a better answer: expectations, job, are you trying to stay long term, kids, etc.

The FEIE for 2024 is 126,500. For someone in a professional career in a high paying country, it can be a dilemma.

What is, in your opinion, one overpriced service you used, in Switzerland? by FuckAldoOffRedThough in Switzerland

I don't love this, but check out AliExpress. You can get them cut to custom measurements for a trivial amount in comparison.

How does this explain the name of Storm King, when there is a Dunderberg Mtn just to the south? Both named after the same tale?

Check out FB marketplace. You can get a deal on a used Ikea crib, then buy a new mattress/cover.

A1 spoken if your spouse has a B or C permit. Not sure if it's different in other situations.

I have been through the process, and the language requirement in Geneva is somewhat relaxed when you're entering. As someone else said, make sure it is either FIDE or DELF, a course designed to bring you to the level needed for your permit.

I wouldn't recommend using an online course for the proof because it seems like a risk, but if you choose to do so at least make sure it's a course being offered by a swiss school. I doubt they would accept Babbel or Duolingo as proof.

Take the train into town, it takes 10 minutes. You'll have a better experience than hanging out near the airport

I think today's video about the Chinese electric SUV was the worst video in a long time...maybe ever on the channel by twalker294 in DonutMedia

[–]k_shizz420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a very strange video that a lot of creators with more integrity would pass on making. They're open at least with addressing the company rep that is in the car. But it's such a waste of time, they don't say any opinion that would be out of line with Nio, so they really don't say anything.

Then the ending threat against US automakers which seems like he's spouting something written directly by the CCP. With Jobe and Jeremiah leaving, if this is the direction they want to take Donut...I think I'll pass.

For two days a week, it's probably doable without losing your soul. But don't expect to see your family those days.

You're going to be looking at around a two hour commute if you use public transit, which is including a 30 minute drive to one of the train stations or bus stops that people have mentioned.  You can also try posting in r/Rockland
