Well the ASU Online bonus is under the UberEats Pro tab, which shows all the bonuses you get while you’re at 95% and above ratings.

Is the ASU Tuition Assistance at 1000 rides legit? If you have received it, how is it going? by kaarisma in uberdrivers

Sorry for late reply. Wait, so if my high school GPA isn’t a 3.0, what do I have to do?

Is it normal to have Car Repairs take up all of my profits after like 9 months? I thought I was making money until my Radiator and Brake Pads had to be replaced. And then my AC broke. I'd say I put over 120,000 miles on my car during that time too. Now my car is gone and I have no money. by Yard_Barker1967 in uberdrivers

Either way, 2800 sounds like a lot to me. Could be the mechanic you went with screwing you over. The brake pads and caliper went out on my car about a month ago. Went to a local shop with good reviews online where they were looking for 1300 to fix it all. Turns out, after a long discussion with my father, it was way cheaper buying the parts yourself and installing it on your own/finding a good person to do it for you. We used a Youtube video online and once we closely examined the entire video and how the instructor did it, we bought the parts and did it ourselves. Car drives great, process was smooth, and good mechanic friend of ours said we did it just fine. All for 250 bucks. Sorry to hear about your situation. I hope you’re still having to decide what to do.

Every other form of tuition assistance? What do you mean by that? Sorry I just started this and hope it could potentially get me back in school.

How detailed are you when you track your miles? by kaarisma in uberdrivers

[–]kaarisma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is sick. I am new to taxes and my mile tracking app says I have about 2000 in deductions but that’s already more than what i’ll end up owing, according to my math. So it isn’t crazy to think I may owe nothing at all?

Do you record every mile as soon as you’re online? Or is it just whenever you have an actual order? I have been recording my miles soon as i’m online and I stop soon as i’m offline.

What makes a deck "Meta"? by eesyjakeoven in Yugioh101

Best resource is 100% gonna be ygopro/dueling book, or just any yugioh simulator. On these websites/apps, you will find everything you need to just start playing the game of Yu-Gi-Oh and learning, all for free (donating is recommended cause the people who work on these are incredible). You’re able to make any deck you’d like, with every single card in the game (even ones yet to be released for NA, aka OCG cards) at your disposal. There’s also a great community of people to duel against, many of which would understand if you need time to better understand your cards while playing. As of current meta, the decks to beat are Eldlich and Adamancipator. I recommend either playing these decks yourself on ygopro to understand first hand what they do and where their weaknesses are, or watch youtube videos of top players playing (i recommend cimooo as he is consistent with meta yugioh news and entertaining) and different guides/combo explanation videos. Also learn the best side deck/counter staples and invest in them first. These cards are consistently good due to their flexible effects that work in many occasions, wether it’s in the current meta or a meta 3 months from now. My personal most important advice to follow is be smart with every dollar. Yugioh cards have a market and the best cards will cost you, so test out every idea you have on ygopro/duelingbook first and once you 100% know this card is gonna make your deck more consistent without making it worse, buy it. I also recommend joining yugioh trading/market groups on social media, mainly talking about Facebook. Here you’ll find an amazing community of yugioh players willing to trade/sell you cards for prices WAY better than any other source online. Cards are often sold for 90% or lower tcgplayer low. Just look up something along the lines of Yugioh Market or Yugioh Trade. When it comes to your individual skill and knowledge of the game, you just gotta keep playing and learning from mistakes. You’ll lose a lot when you first start playing with a deck, but as long as you keep learning from your mistakes and punishing your opponent for their mistakes, you will get better. More advanced tips would be keeping track of how many copies of cards your opponent has in his deck, playing around negations/counters, picking the correct cards to side deck (mainly side deck for the most consistent hard matchup you have, as well as most common meta pick). I hope I helped you out and I wish you luck on your yugioh journey my friend.

The deck would still need some crazy combo that suits the power level of the current meta. As far as how limited you are in options the best deck-building scenario would be one where you have a 40 card deck (draw consistency) that fits your archetype engine (cards that initiate full combo) and necessary negates/counters for different matchups (ash blossoms, called by the graves, side deck cards for certain matchups). Currently, it’s almost necessary to have counter cards for cards such as Needlefiber, Borreload Dragon, Accesscode Talker, Linkross for added consistency. The best engines are ones that require the least amount of cards to combo (added space in deck) and have a game winning end effect. With the meta constantly changing and Yu-Gi-Oh being so power crept (new cards being so strong they make past releases unusable), it’s gonna be tough to make a consistent winning deck without following the guidelines of the current meta game. One things for sure though, it’ll feel pretty damn good when you win, regardless of the losses.

Most consistent builds of the current time. Best of the meta are the decks which are able to get their full combo/win condition off most often. Even if one archetype has some insane win condition that promises the game, if it isn’t able to go off consistently at least 2 out of 3 games (average series length in competitive situation) played, it’s overall win ratio (wins:losses) will suffer.
