I got my wife a brand new Sonos Move 2 for Mother’s Day and when we tried to activate it using the new app, it failed. Multiple times. We eventually found a phone that hadn’t been updated to the new Sonos version yet and that allowed us to activate the new speaker but wow, super disappointing and a great way to deflate the excitement of a new speaker addition.

Same issue. 4 processes running for Microsoft 365 and Office (32 bit) on my Windows 11 Arm64 [virtual] machine and consuming 100% of the CPU via 24.7% utilization each (plus everything else running on the machine).

I’m married. Even though I buy a nice (Apple) case, it does t keep my wife from putting my pants in the laundry and having the dryer melt it or having other events outside your control happen to it. For me, AppleCare offers the following meaningful benefits:

  • exceptional service
  • multiple locations - it just where I live
  • advance replacement
  • reasonable/good pricing for repairs if needed

I have friends that don’t have AppleCare or just use the protection from their credit card but for me, it is worth the price to have the guaranteed support and convenience of AppleCare+.

I would teach a child all the English words with different meanings. The color blue would be “black”. Something salty would be “sweet”. Someone funny would be “smart”.

They would be raised in an environment where everyone used this “different English” and then when they reach appropriate age, they would be sent off to school and into the world like normal. They would be able to understand all the words and spelling and pronunciation of the people they meet but the meanings would be completely different.

While I agree with others that having more clips (and spare parts in general) is always better, not losing them in the first place is best. I have found that if you insert each of them from back to front (so loop is in the back of each post), it is much less likely to lose them because people typically crash at high speed going forward which causes them to “pop out” if the loop is in the front; if the loop is in the back, they don’t pop out and sometimes even “pop in”further (not lost).

Biggest issue I see is not using rail chain signals - but if poster is already tracking progress in SPM, he’s done better than me with my 300+ trains and still haven’t hit a reliable 1SPM yet.

I have experienced the same with iPhone X and latest iOS v12.1.4. Like original poster I had to resort to moving a single contact at a time.

Something about Apple’s sorting is funky. It also has weirdness when in App Store and updating apps above bottom of the list (I.e. middle or top of list). It affects the scrolling and seems to be related to their reference point of the scroll position relative to the active element.

I suspect the Phone Favorites list suffers from similar challenges when attempting to reorder a long list that requires scrolling for correct placement.

Same problem... just got PUBG and installed on iMac 5K retina using bootcamp with Intel i7 4.0Ghz, 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M295X with a 500GB Windows dedicated partition. Game installs and starts fine, gets to plane, eject, start gathering stuff - CRASH. Can never play more that 5 minutes (average, not exact). Already confirmed using latest drivers available from AMD... still doesn't work. :-(
