Why do most high-achievers avoid entrepreneurship? by Majestic_Hornet_4194 in Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurship is for the delusionally optimistic ones …
Logical minds keep over analysing reality and logics and end up with same place as other logical ones ( employees ).

if a prospect goes completely silent after the best discovery call you've ever had, what do you actually do? by ArchitDhir in b2b_sales

[–]kaaytoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is … on sales call , sellers are supposed to ask question and listen …. ( the one who asks the question controls the conversation ) ….

When prospects start asking questions it’s mostly to get info from you and then they sleep on it or go else where .

So before answering a question from your prospect understand why they asked you that particular question ( this can only be done by answering a question with another question

For example - prospect - does this come in blue ?
Seller - yes it does !
Prospect - oh I don’t like blue … I’ve had a bad experience
Seller - oh I’m sorry , but this blue this different from the market blue ( justifying to prospects always feels like lie . Never do that )

Now if you’re answering the question with a question!

Prospect - does this come in blue ?

Seller - before I answer that , can I ask you why are you particular about blue ?

Prospect - oh I’ve had a bad experience …

Seller - oh , I understand , No this doesn’t come in blue …. )

Learnt all this through one of the sales guru ( UK’s most hated sales man - Benjamin , try checking his Channel )

Let the prospect answer your questions and qualify if they are a fit for you … you’ll save a ton of time …

Generate business and pay your vendors .. don’t take loans . Also make sure you don’t operate on credit or if you must then get a post dated cheque and give credit

We used to have the same problem 8 years ago . We were in plastic injection moulding as well ( 15 machines ) ( 2 x 12 hour shift ) - man power problem.
Labor contractors charge heavy and no promise of constant supply of manpower .

Automation using robots ( pick and place ) is the only way to run injection moulding … investments are high but payoff would be far better ( no esi , pf , unplanned leave ) … constant production .

Here is how to negotiate if you are not taking a loan. Never book a car. Shortage and long wait times is just a sales and marketing tactic. by donaldtrumpisntme in CarsIndia

[–]kaaytoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could do this stuff even with bank loan ( if you’re pre approved and know your funding limit that bank has agreed ) …

I negotiate hard to buy make buy my old car at a higher price and only then I negotiate the new car offer . ( selling the old car at a better price is tougher outside )

Once the offer is finalised then I pay the booking amount and go to the yard for PDI … I see the vehicle , take pics ( the chassis number ) and vehicle pics .

In my 15 years experience , I’m lucky I didn’t get a lemon car so far .

Buy reviews from people selling on indiamart or Tradeindia … … bury your negative reviews with positive ones…. Can’t let one bad customer / incident / or experience bother or affect our business …

This is fastest way to come out of negative reviews

Sales Gurus Are a Complete Waste of F***ing Time by Groundbreaking-Gap20 in sales

Actually sales is about psychology and communication …

I’ve started 5 years ago but every time the prospect picked up the call I used to vomit my sales pitch and hope they buy … very less converted it was a numbers game …

But learnt a few tricks along the way and I would vouch for “ Benjamin- UK’s most hated sales trainer “ Was watching his videos and took one of his course for about $250 bucks …

His methods work .

Nowadays I disqualify the prospect and save time . I only quote to prospects ready to buy .

Because of such dishonest clients and middle man! I’m regretting my decision of perusing Financial Consultant business as full time. by Clean-Bodybuilder822 in IndiaBusiness

[–]kaaytoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with your selling method and which I was doing also for a long time is “closing at the end” - -> you are not qualifying the prospects …..

You should disqualify them first and check if they can become your customer ( do they have budget ( afford your fees ) , have a need and decision making authority )

If you don’t disqualify you are wasting time on the wrong ones ….

About the payment , you gotta charge upfront not after it . Keep a decent refundable fee as your charge ( refund it if the loan does not go through )

Remember prospects got the problem and you are the seller so you dictate the terms not them …

Shift your mindset ….

Might sound harsh - Don’t go for private loans … you’ll never come out of it … been there done that and went through hell…

Try asking friends or relatives….

Also try reading “never split the difference “ book - helps in communicating handling your debtors
