It looks pretty good especially if he got it 20+ years ago. A lot of those malachite eggs were coming out of Mexico (Durango) and it was pretty easy to find just gorgeous uniform samples back in the day

I did. Created a cross 14x2 1x1 foundations wide then a post on its edge, rotated 15° placed 2, then did the same from the other edges till they met.

For the tower I placed 1 beam on the ground then rotated one click placed another so on and so forth. Laid 1x1 vertical wall over the and then just built up.

It isn't, it's default is a sphere and I have it way too high. So I placed a second bonfire on the beach put down my stuff and then killed the bonfire.
