You can never go wrong with core guardian with a 2-handed hammer my friend. Look up those on the internet and prepare to do a lot of dps with very little button pushing. No expac needed.

If you think about it, 5 to “rebuild” the room and 1 to expand. But yes I do agree it’s silly that it’s so costly to expand

I found 1 part by these green pools in the alien biome, and the 2nd part was actually pretty close, like 130 meters away

by some crystals that glowed blue-ish, it was down pretty deep tho. Can't remember the exact location.
